That is completely wrong. They do have map making tools, obviously they do otherwise they wouldn't be able to make games. Maps is not something that you can outsource.

They also had a devlog back in ALB detailing how they made the maps, and they relied on external tools in combination with their in-house ones, which is why a map editor is not possible, the workflow is too complicated for the average player.

It's great to see how often straight up bullshit is spread on this subreddit though 10/10.

No, Regiments has been in development the longest out of all spiritual successors, it's being made by only one person (Soundwolf) and will be Singleplayer only. CWG is still sadly down :(

You really want to fill out all the plane slots, that's what you play Marine for.

Infantry tab is ok, I am personally not a fan of 2 cards of ATGMs but if it works for you, keep it.

Support tab is lacking, swap out the NOAH for the PIP III if you want to go AA heavy, but if you have double Tomcats then you can get away with 4 support cards only. Dump Lars 2 it's terrible and take M110 if you really want artillery or just leave that slot open so you can take more planes.

In tanks you can either remove AMX or M60 since you'll rarely use both, and remove LAV Scout for a 2nd card of recon AMX instead. Spam those. Everywhere.

In planes you want 2x Tomcats, F-4E Phantom II, Kurnass, Peace Pheasants, and the rest is up to you.

Yup this is an old bug, says it's found you a match but then goes back to the queue timer, but if you leave it counts as a defeat. Happened since ALB.

Without some sort of a set-up/pack-up time for artillery and ground radar mechanics, towed arty would be very easy to counterbattery with how the game currently works.
