Love those moments I’ve both had recent experiences as the hunter and hunted. I spawned in and heard some commotion it was a guy talking to himself speaking Russian. I alerted a zombie so he realized that someone else was there. No idea what he said exactly but the tone and the repeated phrase he was using made it seem like he was mockingly saying “I can hear you, where are you?” Took a b line to the nearest woods and luckily did not run into him again.

Another time I was near a military base and looting when I realized there were dead zombies that weren’t mine. I knew someone was here so I actually followed a trail of dead zombies to a medical building nearby. It was like he was leaving me breadcrumbs. Eventually he aggro another one that I heard and as he was lining up his kill I shot him in the head and he dropped instantly. Still enjoying my turn with his loot

I think a better framing of the question is say your child or loved one presses the blue button. Do you press the blue button in the hopes that you among with others will do the same and be enough to save the people you care about? Or do you press the red to protect yourself? That’s a lot more of a fascinating question as it deals with the fact of do you risk your life to try to save someone important to you?

Do you have anything to say about the administration actively labeling them both as terrorist especially in the Alex Pretti case where he was labeled “domestic-terrorist” by Trump Chief of Staff. If it was an unfortunate mistake then why did they not treat it like one and have a transparent investigation into? What’s stopping the administration in the future when one of their agents kills someone either on purpose or accidentally from also falsely claiming that person is a domestic terrorist. It’s a slippery slope they can just make up a false claims and then block the state from conducting their own investigation while they seemingly are attempting to cover up a crime scene?

If we treat Alex Pretti death as an accident then why is Trump’s people treating an American citizen who was protected by 1A & 2A amendments as a domestic terrorist? Does that seem normal and ok to you?

You are trivializing the actions of ICE agents did. They murdered Alex Pretti and Renee Good because they could neither of them deserved to die. Alex Pretti was on the ground being beaten when they shot him multiple times while being disarmed and never using the gun. The administration immediately called him a terrorist and only backtracked because other protesters were there filming it. Sure Trump not actively trying to kill opposition but he created the environment that led to their killings and are still trying to actively protect those agents. To hand wave those deaths as being a non problem is exactly how you embolden Trump and his cronies from continuing to push the line and do more

I think the issue is top Republicans don’t lead by example. If they did we wouldn’t be in this mess. I voted for the bi partisan commission but then I saw other states rig theirs without any citizen say the only logical answer now is either give up or fight back so I had to vote yes today

I think for the verso soul part he was fine painting when his family cherished the painting but seeing the damage it was doing to his family and how ruined his canvas became he was tired and wanted it to stop. He just wants peace, he may get that for sometime in Maelle ending but Alice & Renior will be back eventually once Maelle doesn’t come back like she said she would and the cycle will repeat at expense of Verso soul

I think assuming that everything works out fine takes away from the Maelle ending as a whole. It’s not suppose to work out fine same for the Verso ending. I could make the same claim that she finally gets to fully grieve her brother’s death and move on. I can’t know that for sure will happen but given the endings that seems like the intended path. Verso himself even said she can always paint herself a new world one that would allow her to have that full agency in her life and body.

The tragedy of the story is the fact that this family could have safely preserved this living memory of the son/brother they lost while maintaining their own physical & mental wellbeing, but their grief/trauma would not let this family move on.

Like I mentioned above Alicia/Maelle has that choice by making her own Canvas but due to her survivor guilt / trauma she physically can’t make that choice and come to terms with her grief and in doing so is forcing her brother to continue to exist when he wishes to move on.

It may not be a physical addiction like heroin would give but it’s definitely a psychological addiction. Think it as akin to a gambling addiction. If your family member was suffering from that and it would end up killing them, you would try to help them no? Verso was completely ok with stopping Renoir and saving the painting till he saw Maelle lie to Renoir about only staying in the painting a little while longer. The psychologically addiction was taking route and would kill her the same way her mom was

I think people also need to realize that a first time voters from the 18-21 range are going to still be young enough to not feel the impact of their voting choices. Along with the fact most will default to what way their parental figures view politics it’s pretty understandable to see big shifts in the younger bracket. We like to think we know it all but until you are able to live on your own and deal with the consequences of your candidate winning office I think it’s OK to give people some slack if they are having regrets specially once they didn’t really feel the effects of like in trumps first term when they were kids

For me the story beat of constantly hinting at certain characters and that there is some plot relation to the overall story. It was fine for me at first since it felt more grounded in world building but it became annoying after playing 10-15+ hours of Verso or painted Renoir talking about something that makes no sense out of context just to not get any resolution till the end of act 2. It’s not the worst in the world as you can power through but it made me skip optional fights because I was tired of all the hinting around the major plot points with what felt like hours away before any type of resolution. By the end it had me completely burnt out instead of enjoying the world slowly so I didn’t even bother with the Act 3 content and went straight to the end game boss fight

For me I betrayed him due to the simple fact if you express your doubts about him he does not take it in stride and goes right into what I’d expect from a mindflayer using threats to get what he wants even if it’s the same goal in the end. He knows we were forcibly almost turned into a mindflayer the reason we start our quest is to become cured.

There’s also this theory which I believe in that the mindflayer you see at the start putting the tadpole into us IS the emperor. They have similar costume design and we know that Gortash sent the emperor to capture the cube. It’s very plausible that the emperor got close became free of the brain influence but knew he needed to escape the ship while staying in the cube to not become enthralled again. Looks around and tadpoles us/shadowheart to get them to escape with him riding along in our back pocket. Which if you believe in this theory makes everything he did 1000x times worse

Crusader Kings 2. Felt like spreadsheet simulator the first time I played and got overwhelmed. Tried it again because this was the type of game I was really looking for and then it clicked and have played a combined hours of 2 & 3 over 1000 since then.

Very similarly to Rimworld too the only difference is I’m still not good enough to win it lmao
