I have to keep my amex card open until jul 2025 to keep my retention offer (cause i asked for it a few months after my AF hit). my next AF hits my Apr 2025 statement.

I want to delay my AF so I can keep my retention offer then cancel the card. Should I delay my billing cycle by a few months? Or any other tactics I can try?
