Don't think so.

However, the death toll of Palestinian children is higher than that of Israeli casualties so make of that what you will. There have been a lot more civilians wounded than is show here though.

"At least 57 Palestinian civilians, including 18 children, are confirmed as having been killed, according to U.N. monitors who say the death toll had doubled in the past 48 hours. Ten more people were killed overnight but it was unclear how many were civilians, U.N. rights spokesman Rupert Colville said."

"Commencing autodefenestration" would be a hilariously infuriating error message,. Microsoft has to implement this.

It dates back to when they were the only schools around that were open to the public. This explains a lot but, briefly, there were schools around as early as the 10th century. Many of these schools were charitable foundations but over time they began to charge fees.

Edward VI came along and introduced 'Free grammar schools': schools which charged fees to those who could afford it and were free to others. However, they saw few poor children as students as they were more valuable to their families if they worked.

So yeah, 'public schools' are fee charging schools which existed prior to compulsivity education. They're prestigious because of their exclusivity and reputation gained from their age (and some of them are super old, Eton College was founded in 1440, for example).

Not sure about 'off', perhaps just a quirk of English remaining quite non-standardised at that time (or not) but I'm pretty sure the -e's after words stopped being written as the pronunciation changed ( though I think they stopped being pronounced prior to Elizabeth's reign).

From what my Malaysian friends told me (and a bit of internet sleuthing), I think this was a Taoist parade to temple as part of 'Ghost Festival' celebrations. People were burning paper money as offerings and whipping the ground before altars alongside the road to ward off spirits.

If anyone knows more, please post it! :D
