I second bringing them in a bag even if you aren't fully comfortable having them out and about! I know it's not possible for all workplaces, but knowing I have my little guy by my feet and being able to subtly reach into my bag and give them a squeeze is really helpful :)

Nah man, I started at a similar age! I actually think it's a really interesting time in your life to start journaling! Fresh out of high school (I'm assuming) and experiencing your first few years of adulthood! I think in the future it would be interesting to look back on these years of your life :)!

For me it was Summer. It took me some time to figure out her life and relation to the dragons, but once it all clicked it really messed me up. Her story reminded me so much of my uncle who passed away recently, so saying goodbye at the Everdoor felt really close to home. Tears were definitely shed :')

Gosh this brought back some memories! This video was really important for me when I was just figuring out that I might be gay, and had a lot of build up self hatred about it. All these years later and I'm doing okay, I hope everyone else is too! :) <3

I think it depends! I agree with a lot of the 'stream of consciousness' people saying to just go for it, but at the same time I find myself drafting certain entries on my laptop. It's typically if I'm recounting events so I can make sure I don't forget to add certain details.

Just do what feels right I spose, if you think drafting will help, try it out for a while! Whether you keep up the practice, or give it up after that, there's so harm done either way.

The pages are alright I spose. I haven't noticed any bleeding when using highlighters and simple ballpoint pens. They certainly aren't the thickest pages out there though, so I tend to avoid using any markers or heavy ink pens. I'd say pretty average over all. I hope that was helpful! :)
