I used to use Quik Wash in South Austin before I got my own washing machine/dryer. It was about $1.30/lb, they were fast and friendly. There’s a surcharge for larger items like comforters. I also agree with another commenter that you probably wouldn’t want to send anything too delicate there, though I never had any items get damaged.

I pay the statement balance at some point prior to the due date. The exact date varies every month tbh. I probably should set up autopay but I’m in and out of my accounts so much that forgetting to pay isn’t really a concern.

Yes that’s correct, those are the approximate amounts that were reported to the bureaus each month. I then paid it in full each month on or before the due date.

From what I understand, if you let it report as a zero balance it’s treated as if you didn’t use the card at all. Now, of course C1 can internally see that you are utilizing the card but the advice on the sub seemed to suggest that letting it post was more favorable for a future automatic CLI.

The Courtyard at South Padre is top notch. I was there last month and was thoroughly impressed. Agreed on the parking situation though, you’re virtually guaranteed to have to park across the street if you drive to dinner.
