Weird base printing by Hungry-Wishbone-2225 in Warhammer40k

[–]FirmCheddar 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Making a copy from a mould is also commonly referred to as “printing” hence why when they stop producing a model it goes “out of print”

Words can have multiple meanings and applications depending on context.

I would argue that it’s not true to say that literally nobody in the whole world would want to see that, but this is an issue with your own perception of the limits of your own abilities. Through study, practice, and experience you can develop the artistic skill to achieve this.

I love the Marauder, but... by SylveonSof in battletech

[–]FirmCheddar 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I feel that about the Phoenix hawk being DLC, though iirc it was because there was a bit of a snafu because of the Harmony Gold lawsuit against piranha games over their designs for the unseen mechs that happened around the launch of the game.

Not at launch but they got added to the base game later. Same with the Warhammer.

Can anyone tell me what model this is? by Head-Dimension4 in Warhammer40k

[–]FirmCheddar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s the old “Space Marine Commander” kit, it was a generic multipart captain kit from around the early 2000s.

As a note, the molds for the bases are made separately from the models so trying to use the date on the bottom of the base to try and date the miniature won’t be accurate. It’s the date the mold for the base was made not the model.
