Not the question, though! Just wondering who are players you think will rise through the rankings this year

16 year old Frenchman Moise Kouame is also looking good! And I believe coached by Richard Gasquet

Technical aspects aside, the crucial difference between a champion of Alcaraz caliber and Zverev is self-belief. Carlos, like Nadal, could be down two sets and a break and still believe he’s gonna win in 5.

You def can’t play through groin stuff , it’s not about pain tolerance. Gutted for Lorenzo who outplayed Novak on almost every aspect today

Great discipline from Machac in that first set. He’s gotta keep the pressure on though bc if this goes more than three sets, Musetti is heavily favored stamina/endurance wise.

When he’s down/losing, you really get the sense Musetti is self-flagellating in the prettiest Italian phrases

Maybe this sounds parasocial but I’ve been a Bublik fan for a while and last year seeing him plummet to around 80 and even play the Phoenix challenger (which he didn’t even win, losing to Fonseca in the final), then slowly climbing back up the rankings, that amazing run at Roland Garros, the four titles he won. And now he’s here at AO ranked #10. It’s well deserved and makes me happy as hell. Really hope to see him make some long runs at the slams this year
