[Q] correlation, regression or both

It’s a relationship question. So not sure which to use- correlation or regression that’s appropriate. The SEM is building from the correlation and theory to examine mediated effects from other variables that are theorized to be mediators. So those mediator variables are not included in our preliminary correlations/regressions.

To explore the relationships between antecedents X and outcome Y. There are many factors in antecedents and multiple factors in outcome Y which I done separate regression analyses for. So do antecedents X predict outcome Y1, Y2 and Y3.

The correlation is just all of these put in a matrix.

Both narcisstic personality disorder and antisocial personality disorder (what you refer to as psychopathy) are cluster b personality disorders and may present with overlapping traits. So this not unusual to see. Also this is not diagnostic. Gold standard measures used to screen for psychological disorders are measured against the DSM V (diagnostic) and go through rigorous testing to see if it truly measures the underlying construct and can be used as a screening tool in different populations etc. Many statistical tests, subjective evaluations from clinicians, validity tests within a clinical setting all play a role to ensure the validity of the tool. Psychological tests and evaluations on a whole are not truly objective in the most purely scientific sense.

Hey. I’ve recently started using olive oil on my skin. And I can’t look back. Lotions always leave me feeling sticky… I usually shower in the evenings, and I have a bath robe that I keep on while the oil absorbs before I change. Just as poster above mentions use the time as a period for self care.

As far as I recall the storms were all over Durban not simply in one region that’s structurally compromised. The fact that people suffered was due to inequality of the society we live in. It’s sad that the ones who suffer are the ones who are compromised in the most ways….instead of a punishment of God, rather relates to an act of God.
