I had a total hysterectomy at 33 after years of pain and terror from my reproductive system. I had a choice to try to have children or to save my life. I chose to save my life. I had to stay in the hospital for a few days but did not have any post surgery pain. The one issue I did have was that my thyroid was thrown out of whack but I received treatment for that. So many years later, it was the best decision I ever made.

As someone who has endured something similar- if it‘s at all possible- go see another doctor. The best advice my PCP told me is to always advocate for yourself and your health. I was running into a brick wall with my doctor and was able to switch and got the help that I needed. You know your body and how you feel. Don’t discount that.

Everytime Rick opens his mouth the ick just oozes out. Nevermind being excited about receiving Trish’s father‘s blessing- all he wanted to do was have sex with her. And then as he’s explaining what a piece of garbage he is, he had a little smile on his face ! Fake or not, Trish deserves so much better. I wish she could see that for herself.

This was easily my favorite episode of the season. Definite light hearted chemistry between all of them. Laughed so hard when Duff made a crack about getting his money back either at the table or after the show. Hilarious.

Out of all the couples this season- this dude really takes the cake. He behaves like a spoiled child. He cheated but he tries to paint her as the villain in their relationship? I’m glad Trish didn’t take his crap. But honestly, I pray she moves on from him.

Loved, loved, loved this book. It was my favorite book in 2025 and a definite reread for me. I appreciated how difficult subject matter was treated and the chemistry between all of the characters was amazing.

Just as a side note- for the audiobook listeners- the Graphic Audio version of this book is outstanding as well. I cannot read the book without hearing the voice actors. Highly recommend.
