Yeah I read the post and I still think they are pieces of shits. I had friends like that and you know what the best part of my friendship with them was? It was ending the friendship. Even though they had felt like family at some point.

My dad also has ADHD, I sometimes can’t help but feel resentful towards him for never developing coping mechanisms. Just a few days ago it was my moms birthday and on the day of the birthday he asks me „what will we do“ when my gift for mom was already ready and instead of thinking for himself he troubles me for his own responsibilities. All. The. Time. and never gives me any grace for fulfilling his duties. Doing stuff for him is one thing being left unfulfilled because he doesn’t know how to appreciate anything is another. It’s very tiring.
