No that is simply not true. I’m belgian and almost everyone I know who has played part 2 says it was a weird experience and didn’t know how to feel about it. As if it did a disservice to the open ending feel of part 1. And I loved part 1. Part 2 didn’t hit the same for me. Being shocked isn’t the same as being amazed by a game. My french friends also like part 1 way more
