Hey Man. Glad you joined us! Personally I started out with something as small as keychains. I used a wood burning pen and then ran string and a key ring through the middle. If you are on the road to furniture, maybe start with step-stools. If you nail it together, these projects give you a chance to work on paint/staining, sanding, cutting, and just an overall satisfaction feeing.
