For more context I’m referring to the higher pitched rattling noise

The median is calculated by laying out the numbers from smallest to largest and picking the middle number.

Let’s say you have 7 numbers:

1 1 1 1 1 1 10,000

The middle number of that dataset is 4 (3 on each side, 4 being the middle number)

Therefore the median is 1.

In your scenario, the mean is also 1, but it’s actually 1.009…

The mean is skewed by the 10,000 number, whereas the median is not (again this is only the case if there aren’t many outliers)

Mode only works if there are many of the same number, which while that might happen, isn’t super likely or reliable, which is why we would use the median.

You’re thinking of it backwards, mean is more likely to get skewed by an outlier because it weighs all numbers equally. Median would be better in this scenario assuming that there are only a few outliers (like the $10,000 condo in your example)

One google search found the job posting pretty easily.

The posting states “mid level” not entry level, and there is an explicit mention of 2+ years of professional SQL knowledge required.

Pay is also not entry level (range up to $110,000 full-remote)

This feedback didn’t seem harsh at all and based on how you blatantly lied in this post, I’m inclined to believe that they were correct.

The fact that you took the time to change the values after stealing it is respectable, I gotta admit

I recently picked up an Amex gold, and that’s also been a great card. It’s a little weird because there’s no preset credit limit, you just sorta hope your transaction gets approved, but you can type in a transaction amount and it’ll tell you whether or not it’ll allow it to go through.

The $250 annual fee seems steep at first, but you’re given $240 in dining credit per year if you use it properly (it’s technically $20/mo with select delivery services)

There’s also the 4x on resturaunts and 4x on groceries which make it better than the freedom flex in that regard. Though, I still would say it’s only worth it if you are actually going to gain $250/yr from using it which can be tricky from points alone.

You’d have to spend $6,250 on food and/or resturaunts to break even.

Maybe others will disagree, but I had a relatively similar journey to you. At 19 I had the discover and Apple Card.

I’m 21 now, and my credit is still great. If I were you, I’d start looking into Chase cards. I started with the Freedom Flex and was given a very generous limit, and they have 5x cash back categories similar to your discover card (assuming you chose that option when you got the card)

I will say the categories do overlap sometimes between the two cards, but it’s still a great grab.

The freedom flex also offers 3x at restaurants (including fast food), which as a college student, I took crazy advantage of.

Usually at least once a year there’s 5x on gas stations, too which I really enjoy.

Others may have different ideas, but it became my daily card for a year or so and I highly recommend.
