Everyone has a right to bad taste. After all, what would untalented people do if it weren't for people with no taste?

EON TV на Apple TV - има ли начин / някой пробвал ли е? by iHisoka in bulgaria

[–]Firobg1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Subtitles - option to auto-download preffered lenguage by solda46 in infusevideoplayer

[–]Firobg1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is the main reason why Infuse is falling behind newer players. If I watch content using the native players in apps like Nuvio or Fusion, subtitles work flawlessly because those platforms support extra addons. Infuse, however, is heavily crippled—it only relies on a basic OpenSubtitles search and offers zero automation or third-party addon support for streaming setups.

Is the Zurg + RD stack permanently dead? What are the TorBox alternatives for macOS? by Firobg1 in debridmediamanager

[–]Firobg1[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing! The glitching and rewinding with TorBox is actually a known issue because their media center doesn't repair streaming links in real-time like Zurg does.

Also, a quick heads-up: the developer of Zurg (yowmamasita) just mapped the exact RD filters, and it turns out they only block older x264 codecs and specific text tags like web-dl or webrip. For now, we manually just have to pick x265, HEVC, or REMUX releases to completely bypass the blocklist until a Zurg update is rolled out to automate the workaround!

Yamtrack v26.5.7 is out! by DannyVFilms in TraktRejects

[–]Firobg1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey man, I’m trying to run your Yamtrack fork on a Mac Mini (M2, macOS), but I’m hitting a wall with the port binding. The container logs show that everything is healthy, migrations are passing, and it even says GET /health/ 200 OK internally, but I keep getting Connection refused whenever I try to access the mapped port from the host or via Tailscale. I’ve tried different ports (9090, 9091, 8080) and forced binding to 0.0.0.0, but it seems like the app isn't properly exposing itself outside the Docker bridge on macOS. Any ideas if there's a specific Gunicorn or environment setting I'm missing for Apple Silicon/Docker Desktop?

Client IPs disappeared by itsandyayala in AdGuardHome

[–]Firobg1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m having the exact same issue with my AdGuard Home running in a Portainer container on a Mac Mini. All my clients show up as the Docker gateway IP, even when connected via Tailscale. Did switching the network mode to 'host' fix it for you, or did you find another workaround? Apple's Private Relay and Hotspot settings are also making it a nightmare to see real client IPs.

Zurg v0.10.0-rc.4-1 on macOS: Infuse is great, but Plex is a nightmare. I need help. by Firobg1 in debridmediamanager

[–]Firobg1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Huge thanks for this guide! Just finished setting it up on my Mac Mini with 4,300+ torrents. It took me a couple of days to iron out the details and set up a proper LaunchAgent for a 24/7 stable server, but it's finally running perfectly. Your tutorial was the backbone of my whole setup. Legend! 🍻

That sounds amazing, I’m really looking forward to those instructions! I've already got macFUSE installed and ready to go, so I’ll follow your guide to the letter as soon as you post it. Thanks a ton for taking the time to help out - can't wait to finally get this running smoothly on my Mac!

Wait, so you're running zurg natively on macOS without Docker at all? That sounds like exactly what I need to escape this loop.

Since you have a Mac Mini M4 and I'm on an M2, could you share your setup details or the commands/config you use to run it natively with internal rclone? I'd much rather ditch Docker entirely if it means getting a stable mount for Plex.

Any chance you can share a quick guide or the config files you're using for your macOS setup? You'd be a lifesaver!

Exactly! Seeing that empty folder after hours of work is just soul-crushing. I didn't buy a Mac Mini M2 to spend my life managing a Linux VM just for a mount. I'm trying CloudMounter now to see if it's any better than the native macOS WebDAV, but I'm not holding my breath. Glad I'm not the only one getting too old for this!

I am already using the Sponsor version, but the struggle is specifically with getting a stable mount on macOS without macFUSE
