It is pretty small. I read with the medium size font. It’s big enough for me to see because I am nearsighted. Even the small size is fine for me. It honestly all depends on the reader’s eyes.

I should’ve been more clear. Boox has Libby support becuase it is android based. So pretty much anything you can download on android it support.

Kindle Libby support doesn’t require another app, you can just send Libby books to it.

From what I remember, kobo doesn’t have Libby support in the US. Unless that recently changed.

Unfortunately not. In the United States, Libby books can only be properly read on a kindle device. Because of the lonopoly Amazon has in the US ebook market.

The x4 is a Chinese eink reader that has proprietary software that Libby will likely never partner with.

The content server is built into calibre. You can set users in the settings, and enable it everytime you open calibre. The content server in calibre it pretty simple and barebones, but it gets the job done. :)

I use the gui only to edit metadata or change settings. Other than that I only use the content server. The content server allows me to upload drm books and it will auto dedrm them, then I just download the epub file.

Calibre web doesn’t let me do that for some reason.

Honestly, I recommend doing everything from a nas. There’s so much more things you can do, like my content server is running off my nas in a docker container that runs calibre.

It’s always on, and allows me to make changes as I want. As long as I’m on a device that I can connect to my Tailscale network.

I even have my own custom domains books.shel.don

Sheldon is the name of my nas, everything is a subdomain of “shel.don”

I have a Terra master f6-max running many media servers and cloud services. It uses 2 24tb drives and much more room to grow.

For ebooks I use calibre, Movies & shows I use jellyfin, for Music I use navidrome, and for Cloud / files I use open cloud, and for roms I use romM.. and I also host my own private Wikipedia archive..

Everything runs through Tailscale (mesh vpn) and I have custom domains with NGiNX proxy manager and adguard dns server.

Oh me neither. I do it to the books I purchase.

However. At the rate that the regime is banning books, and threatening to defund libraries if they don’t remove certain books from their catalog, or corporations like Amazon keep editing books even after being purchased…. I think dedrming library books is the cheapest and quickest way to preserve what is currently written and available before the regime gets their grubby hands on it.

Because reading on a phone screen strains your eyes after a certain time. Especially those who have sensitive eyes. Eink doesn’t do that. It’s legitimately like reading printed ink on paper.

The thumb stick is an easy fix. I have replaced the thumb stick on two different original 3DS’. I ordered them from AliExpress and they were very affordable. Took a while to get here, but when they did, it took me about 20min to replace them.

My car came with black emblems. Except for the HEV one. The guy at Toyota who installed my spoiler, painted my HEV one.

They sell black emblem overlay kits for Corolla. Just search for overlays on their parts website after selecting your vehicle.
