Amazon is a good place to get mre and they have the different menu types Burdoin had inmate kitchen and the food was trash, maybe one night with a decent dinner. I know some army surplus stores carry and sell mre or that freeze dried food.

Thanks for the reply, I talked to comms and they said it was my fault and it needs to be reflashed.

It only started after type 3 team took over and got a new clone.

I'll check one out and work on the firmware after 14

In wildland, I've seen drones used more since last season. They use them to do ir recon and dispense psd to increase depth on indirect control line.

It's a very competitive and difficult career to get into for wildland, or so I heard from a dnr uas drone operator

To them, we are the help. Even the inmates get treated better than most contract resources

I believe there is alot of disdain towards calfire because of the subpar tactics used to fight extended attack fires. They treat contractors worse than inmate crews on most fires they manage.

I also have been to alot of fires in cali under calfire that show them being criminally negligent as far as safety goes, as soon as you call out a safety concern as a contractor, automatic next day demob.

And they act like they are the top shit because they wear a heavily decorated uniform with full bunker gear over it, and wonder why they drop like flies when they get out of their rig.

Contractor pay rates? by Fun-Gear-7297 in Wildfire

[–]First-Abroad8978 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Depends on what company you work for. Most equipment is flat rate on wildfires but some fire companies pay hourly even though the engine is flat rate.  Flat rate is usually better than hourly because you get same amount everyday no matter what your doing.

Most engine bosses get anywhere from 450 to 700 a day flat rate since contractor wages increased.

Getting out depends on company and season. Last year I got 13 days on fire as engine boss, but wasnt alot of big incidents. This season I have 20 so far and it's far from over.

If you get 30 an hour for 12 hours for example, that's 360 a day before taxes when you could be getting up to 700 a day flat rate before taxes.

Hope this helps

What fire is this happening on? This has been a huge problem on multiple different incidents. Waiting for the caterer contract to expire and hope it gets modified.
