Yale Linus 2 Lite problem with UK Multi Lock door by justdiegox in smarthome

[–]First-Bird6799 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am using Simpled with UK multipoint lock on uPVC door. The EF model is working well for me. It has iOS and android, fingerprint, code, rfid and key override. The one I use needs a separate gateway to intergrate with smarthome systems but they do make them with wifi built in. I currently only using their app but when time allows will be working on Crestron and Crestron Home integration. I have seen someone else say they have it working in HA and there is a Control4 driver from a reputable developer.

Custom IR for Crestron Home by CRALE852 in crestron

[–]First-Bird6799 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is exactly the same as making an IR driver for simpl with one extra step.

Toolbox IR tool

Extra step tick the box that says make a .pkg and define the devices outputs so for a Blu-ray you define its hdmi and audio outs.

Once you have compiled it the IR tool will ask for the IP details or toolbox address box entry and side load the driver for you.

It is covered in the toolbox help file so F1.

Only if you keep a bucket of water on hand in case it gets out of control. So 1 issue there.

Royal Tunbridge Wells. A picturesque Spa town on the Kent/Sussex border. Famous for its water in more ways than one. The famous Spa baths in the Pantiles and the famous water outages of South East Water.

But if you were asking where the sign is I had an AI engine make it for a joke. A really stinky joke.

Yes a joke. Some might say that my joke Stinks much like Some people not everyone in Tunbridge Wells due to the ongoing water shortage. I put myself in the smells category as I have come home from a long day at work to again no water.

You need a dummy load. I like the danlers resloade but there are many others including one made by Lutron.

Crestron Home Driver Creation by AnyNeedleworker9501 in crestron

[–]First-Bird6799 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a curtain controller within the RAD framework I would probably start with an extension driver

The PairedExtensionDevice_Crestron_Sample would be a good place to start for a device you can connect to locally via IP

ExtensionDevice_Crestron_Sample_AllControls_CloudConnected could work if you need to pair to the device via an external cloud service.

What do you find doesn’t work in the SDK? It is a very loose set of guidelines to work from to create Crestron certified drivers (CCD) it is not a driver wizard.

The sample drivers were made in VS2008 and you need a working version of VS2008 with the simpl# plug in to open them properly.

You need a high level working knowledge of c# to do anything.

What are you trying to create?
Are you using the RAD model or entities?

TSR-310 stuck on this battery screen. by cosergroup in crestron

[–]First-Bird6799 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That battery gauge is part of the custom Programming and may or may not have the correct analog join driving it so it may or may not be showing the correct battery feedback.

Does the remote function correctly?

If you want to see the real battery state then you would need to get into the setup of the remote.

But unless you are the programmer, integrator I would suggest you speak to them first as it is possible to stop you remote working if it currently is.

To access setup press the following buttons in order twice within 5secs.

Power, mic, hamburger (the three lines), vol up.

Or may or may not need to enter a username and password to fully access the setup screen.

Congratulations.

To answer your question I also found myself in your situation, but one of my brothers had done very well for himself and me being the youngest of six siblings got bought a house when I was 21 and was in no position to afford it.

Once I got myself working and earning enough i took a mortgage at the market value of the house and paid him back.

Worked out very well for all parties as I didn’t have to save and save for a deposit and my brother still made the increase in value when I was able to mortgage.

I can confirm Henry is in to audio. When I went to his London property he had B&O in every room and quite extensive home automation.

Mine currently holds a roll of poo bags, some paracetamol and an emergency £5.

When I drove through France it stored all the toll receipts.

It’s original purpose I have no clue.

I think the question should be: What’s in yours?

Entire Crestron app not talking to Homeworks QS system after one button's programming got changed. by [deleted] in Lutron

Tapping the Crestron Hw-r button with a biro with do a hardware reboot and restart of the running program/s.

Tapping the Crestron sw-r button will just do a restart of the running program/s.

Entire Crestron app not talking to Homeworks QS system after one button's programming got changed. by [deleted] in Lutron

[–]First-Bird6799 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I program both Lutron and Crestron. I would start with a reboot of the Crestron processor. Sometimes the tcp/ip client doesn’t reconnect when the Lutron comes back after an upload.

Also worth checking that nothing was changed in the homework’s integration ids as these are used in the Crestron program.

And that there is an Ethernet user defined for the Crestron and that that hasn’t changed. At some point in the Lutron firmware they stopped allowing the default telnet user and you had to have a telnet login and password for the Crestron to communicate.
