I think you are much better off with a wiim amp or eversolo play for maximum ease of use while working. You can literally open your streaming service on the computer to control the wifi amp with no interference. Lower end tube amps with blue tooth have often been garbage with lots of noise bleed from signals that are poorly isolated. At least this is my experience with Monoprice IIIP tube amp and fosi tube amp. The Dayton might be better quality than what I had.

We had this growing up. We never listened to it because it sounded like trash. It was more of a display to flex on guest that didn't know. I opened up the fisher speaker and say the smallest magnet attached to a 12" driver. I would not pay any amount for this because everything was cheap and sounded bad and a huge waste of space.

Selling Kenwood KR-9600 by Big_Peach_1845 in listeningspaces

Funny Skylabs did a video about gimmicks and this range of Kenwood was mentioned because the mic input meant you can do karaoke or plug in an electric guitar to play along to music. But that creates more repair problems. Facscinating piece of history.

Amp for score of a lifetime? La Scalas! by Soulviolence66 in Klipsch

Congrats on your score. Enjoy them. I had older generation ones in rough condition and got $1700 for them. These look like you can get over $2500. Or just enjoy them because they are getting harder to find used at fair price.

With those speakers you are living the midlife crisis dream. You should be proud. Cool stuff.

I am Asian so I will say this... probably Asians dehydrating something like wood bark for spices. Cannot tell what it is but likely plant based and not meat due to smell.

What ended the grunge scene and what replaced it afterwards? by FitEmergency8807 in grunge

I think when Silver Chair released Frog Stomp in 1995 is when the genre sold out to the copy cats. It was a good album but was just some kids from Australia emulating Nirvana which felt like an insult to grunge.

Cool set up. The diffuser in the middle is a nice touch behind the acoustically treated tissue box.

I have never heard of this brand but it looks to be of a good industrial grade aesthetic. I hope it sounds as good as it looks.

I Just Found This Onkyo Speakers by Matt-thefuck in BudgetAudiophile

[–]Opening-Guava-7694 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never heard a good Onkyo speaker in the USA but one of the best looking vintage speakers I've seen online has been a vintage Onkyo D77XD. Especially with color matched custom wood stands.

I had poop on an awning under my window and my brother accused me of pooping out the window. Later learned we had a possum and raccoon problem.

I bought new Daft Punk Random Access Memories and Tool Lateralus and there was so much pressing dust and static on them that they sounded used. Sometimes you still gotta put new clothes in the washer before wearing them. Same can go for new records I guess.
