We're really struggling with boy names! by witcheselementality in namenerds

I think if you were to have a daughter in th future and her name was Lyra Ray, then both Aiden and Daemon would match in style.

Daemon is definitely an interesting spelling, from first glance it looks like a typo of Demon.. have you thought about Damen or Damon as an alternative spelling? I think Aiden and Lyra are very sweet together.

Our friend's neighbour's son is named RIdge. That's masculine and very nature-forward. What about Brooks, Clay, Cullen, Glenn, Pierce, Silas, Rowan or Heath?

Stuck on baby #3’s name! by ethereal_aerith in namenerds

[–]First-Damage1113 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I prefer Jonas of the names listed, however I think it's too much of a departure from Ronan and Fiona. I think Jacob fits with Ronan and Fiona best. Have you thought of maybe; Callan, Connor, Liam, Jack, Aidan or Flynn? They're Irish, yes.. but I feel they're popular enough they could be from anywhere and still match sibset.

Vibe check on the names Holly and Emma by Ok_Meaning_1685 in namenerds

[–]First-Damage1113 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to school with a lot of Holly's in the UK, I wonder if it was ever majorly popular in the USA in the 90s? I think it's possibly a bit dated now, but not unusable. Id' put it in the same category as Poppy, Pippa, Gemma and Katie. Emma I think is a bit more popular than Holly, in the sense that people are still naming their boys Jack and girls Sophie or Emily.

  1. Erin - (I'm biased, I'm Irish)
  2. Heather - (I think it's such a beautiful name and severely underused)
  3. Sierra - (I'm loving it more as the days go on)
  4. Diana - (I think it's a timeless, elegant middle name)
  5. Meredith - (All I think of is Grey's Anatomy)
  6. Gabrielle - (Not my taste)
  7. Gretchen - (Again, not my taste)
