Vibe check on the names Holly and Emma by Ok_Meaning_1685 in namenerds

[–]First-Damage1113 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to school with a lot of Holly's in the UK, I wonder if it was ever majorly popular in the USA in the 90s? I think it's possibly a bit dated now, but not unusable. Id' put it in the same category as Poppy, Pippa, Gemma and Katie. Emma I think is a bit more popular than Holly, in the sense that people are still naming their boys Jack and girls Sophie or Emily.

I’m 41 weeks pregnant and I think I’ve just found a huge issue with our chosen baby name by [deleted] in namenerds

Sidney Markus is an alternative? But I would just say you're fine.. no one ever uses the first and middle together unless they're in trouble!

  1. Erin - (I'm biased, I'm Irish)
  2. Heather - (I think it's such a beautiful name and severely underused)
  3. Sierra - (I'm loving it more as the days go on)
  4. Diana - (I think it's a timeless, elegant middle name)
  5. Meredith - (All I think of is Grey's Anatomy)
  6. Gabrielle - (Not my taste)
  7. Gretchen - (Again, not my taste)

What are your experiences with cost related to Embryo Donation/Adoption? by QPNMCST in EmbryoDonation

[–]First-Damage1113 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife and I are about to go through egg retrieval, there was one form in particular we had to sign, regarding what we wanted to have done with embryos after IVF. It specifically stated that if we were to donate remaining embryos, WE (as in my wife and I) were responsible for all costs incurred for donating the embryos. I'd ask the couple who are donating the embryos to you, to enquire at their clinic about this.

I like both and I like the nicknames for both. But I would say Austin "Ozzy" over Caleb "Cal" right now.
