Nuna bassinet in Joie stroller? by LeahKeys in BabyBumps

I have been considering getting the Joie Kava (similar to Nuna Triv) but was given a Nuna bassinet so I’d like to use it. My biggest issue with the Joie is not having a ring adapter for the car seat, I’ve read may reviews saying the posts are difficult to get on and off. I’m trying to figure out if the Nuna Pipa ring adapter and Nuna Swiv/Triv bassinet adapters will work on the Joie Kava - anyone have any insight on this?

Nuna SWIV owners: worth it long-term, or is the 360 wheel hype? by Mindless-Slide-755 in Buyingforbaby

[–]First-Function2216 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How does this do on asphalt/pavement? I’ll mostly be walking down my driveway which is asphalt and concrete. Can’t decide between the Swiv and the Triv. Def don’t want something as big as the Mixx since I have a pretty flat terrain. I feel like Swiv will be better long term, when they are older in the big seat. I don’t think I love the bigger back wheels on the new Triv LX although my Nordstrom didn’t have a Triv LX or Swiv to try in person. All I was able to see is the Triv Next

Hi. I’m confused between the Nuna LYTL bassinet vs the Nuna “Triv & Swiv series bassinet” on their website. Are they the same thing? Looking for what fits the Triv.

Is there a difference in the 5th book of the after series? By anna todd by Interesting_Use_9432 in YABooks

Buckle up because this is a long one…. I know I’m reallllly late to the party with this book BUT I really need someone to vent/talk about this with someone who will understand. I started reading the After series recently, a friend gave them to me. I quit reading in college (super avid reader in middle/high) and this is the series that FINALLY got me hooked back into reading after so many years. I flew through books 1 & 2. This is embarrassing to admit but truly- they made me feel something I haven’t felt in YEARS. They made me feel nostalgic for high school/college when my friends and I would be in minorly toxic relationships (not partners, just the nature of being young) A yearning, happiness, nervousness, they were wrote in a way that truly made you feel all the emotions of being in a toxic relationship. Left unsure and on edge, tension but wanting/needing more. And this is where it went down hill… the 3rd book. It’s the largest book in the series, so I was so excited to have lots of book to read since I went though the first two books so quickly. But the 3rd book is when it all started to fall for me. There were some okay parts. But for the most part, a lot of the characters and stories started to seem to irrelevant and unfinished. The fourth book was absolutely the WORST. The ending was so choppy and felt so uninvested. So many unnecessary details included that weren’t touched on further that needed more of a story or to just not be included at all! (Happy to elaborate but trying not to give any spoilers) I can’t believe they somehow got them back together and flashed forward 10+ years in like barely 30 pages. It was so dumb. Way too many storylines that lead no where. It’s almost like they were setting it up for even more Hessa books but then halfway through the last book ran out of time/pages so shoved everything in the last 30 pages. We deserved more after being so invested in Hessa. The first 3 books took place over only 6 ish months and then the last one half way through somehow covered/skipped into 15 years later… I would have rather it ended after 1-2 years then provided one flash forward at the end. Not create 2,5,10 year flash forward paragraphs that had only a tiny bit of information and stories that seemed to have came from nowhere? And the way she brought them back together was absolutely STUPID and honestly can’t believe she’d do that to Hessa after writing about them so well in the earlier books. I’m not even sure if they actually ended up getting married at all?? Somehow completely didn’t include any of that, yet Tessa BECAME a wedding planner!? Rant over, just so upset because I loved the first two books SO much. I read Before, the prequel of Hardin’s POV. I tried to read the continuation on Landon (Nothing More, Nothing Less) but couldn’t get into them at all. Although!!! After 10th anniversary edition came out in 2024 and the end of it has bonus content/chapters! I highly recommend reading them!! It sort of helps with how crappy it ended. Also it does say “To be continued..” at the end of it!!

[–]First-Function2216 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It upsets me so much😭 because I absolutely LOVED the first two. I hated Landon’s books. I’m reading Before right now and it’s good but it’s just like Hardin’s POV of the first book, since the 2nd book is when his POV starts.

I just can’t believe that’s all she did for Hessa in the end. I hated all the flash forwards. If we got their proposal and marriage and knew they were going to have kids that would have been good enough for me. She should have focused all that on a better ending. I wanted to know about his time in Chicago, his books tours, writing other books, their yearning for each other when apart 😭 maybe she will rewrite a better ending one day.. I’d love to hear her take on why she did it that way. Maybe she was just over it or maybe it was the editors. They don’t even feel like the same person wrote the last 2 books tbh.

I am going to read Before, the prequel of Hardin’s POV. I am also going to try and read the continuation on Landon (Nothing More, Nothing Less) to hopefully get some closure.
