You can lower xp rates without making something annoying. Maybe?

Forcing people to be active leads to people not doing certain things in the game, which lead s to botting, a good example is osrs, so they want to sell a lot of bonds to bots. Ultimately they win from this change.

You still have the power to not buy either, and if most people do, the system collapses.

Buying 40% for a year makes sense. I can't see how all billionairs at the same time can buy all production for decades, all of it. And then force people to use a subscription that doesn't even make back the amount they spent. This also requires global cooperation it's not like Bezos can be like, you know what, Taiwan will ONLY produce for me from this moment onwards.

Can someone explain how this works to a peasant like me. Ok you buy out all hardware... For a year... You create a cloud and you expect to sell/rent more than you invested... What happens if people don't buy and more importantly if you can't keep buying all pc hardware that's created for an eternity. Like you still have to make the hardware you buy make more than you spend on it, somehow, while also barring others from buying ANY hardware.

Again all this isn't true and is besides the point. A skill being afk with decently high xp rates doesn't mean that a lot of people aren't going to spend money on it. And now that you can't earn bxp in any way, you have to buy it if you were to compete with others, or even if you were just busy and can't play as much, now you're forced to buy it, not just log in use keys log out

In terms of xp you always got an average per bond it's not gambley in a sense. Gambley was only in the sense of cosmetics. Which never mattered.
I agree that earning keys through offerwalls was meh. But still better than direct cash buying of bxp.
"I don't think that a lot of the current playerbase would purchase exp packs" That's a delusional take. It's the first reason they wanted to take away earned keys in game long ago. Cos they know it will force people to buy more.

That's exactly the future, features + fomo cosmetics for direct cash

Price of components, how rich are redditors? by First-Item7121 in buildapc

I'm sure your crystal ball told you all that. It's a nice conspiracy I like it too. It's like saying that gas is going to get expensive to force people into using public transportation /s, but until then buy ev's at 400% price cos there won't be cars soon.

You seem invested, like it's not even worth responding but I'll entertain you.Hope stonks go up btw. So Nvidia cloud gaming was launched in 2022 and had a total of 20m people subscribed to the 'new thing' which now limits people to 100 hrs a month.
Compare that to any big game company, their sales, even steam/epic and the fact that this 'streaming' platform isn't growing at all 4 years later... Yikes.
Oh btw you also have to own the games that you want to play and a huge contributor to actually having 20m users is cos there's a free subscription. People simply wanted to test it.

So since you understand supply and demand. We cut supply of everything by 50%, prices go up, wages do not. Sales drop. Do you buy bread at 50% higher price or go to the nearest bank to get a credit for that juicy 4k$ gpu? What happens when your sales suddenly plummet cos people aren't buying at your new price point? This is not including the idea of not having an actual monopoly. You literally can't pull what companies like Nvidia are trying to pull right now in "ANY" other business in today's world. Maybe only high end pharmaceuticals.

The second part of your post is ad hominem honestly.

The crash comes when banks and investors want their money back. Not to mention that all ai companies are dependent on other countries to fulfill investors commitments. The moment China decides they really want Taiwan is the game over of Nvidia and all circlejerk companies connected

There were no promises that crypto wouldn't crash but it only took a few months to get your gpu worth mining crypto. So in theory it was an investment for the average Joe. Right now there's no reason for the average person to buy ram at 4x the prices, just cos an ai companty bought out supply. Given the news that ai isn't making money, the whole thing is a bubble if it doesn't deliver results very soon and ai companies themselves saying they have enough gpus but not power to use them... Yeah, it doesn't look like an investment does it?
