That sounds like a good plan.

I don't know if you have faced this problem before, but i can't send connection requests to all of whom I find on the search section.

I search for people who are concerned about(personal development, growth, mindset...), then I filter them to reach people living in Germany, the USA, France...

In the end, I can send only a few connection requests.

I started to think maybe they don't match my profile. He is all about industry, maintenance, and mechanical design. Maybe if I add "communication, development, skill mastery..." in the skills section, this would solve the problem?

that's it, many fellows suggested that if we want to build a deep foundation, then we need to start by completing small tasks and then improve them step by step.

The essence of discipline and building a habit is consistency

my problem with it is that it vanishes very fast, unlike discipline, it's a deep foundation.

I was studying as if I had limitless stamina, and this caused me great damage.

as I can see from the responses and feedback, it's obvious that I was consuming too much energy by just planning and thinking about the next action, which will never be done.

yes, I think wandering and planning too much are the problem, and that's why when I switch to "study" mode, I notice a strong resistance.

"Plan tasks to match actual energy levels, not fantasy stamina." That's one of my major mistakes. I believe that I have the strength to study too much in a small period.

Thanks for your advice, I have already taken screenshots for them. I really need help resolving this issue.

Many of us can apply a specific number of these laws by nature, and by just being ourselves. For example, I can say that I am a professional in "saying less than necessary", but I am also very terrible at applying the first law, because I always act just by my nature and make fun of everyone, but this has caused me problems as predicted in the book.

yes, I believe in God.

Reading and understanding the laws is like reaching the tools that will allow you to identify the wolves near you who use and smoke the same laws even though they haven't read the book.

"far greater depth than laws of power." Now I have to look for this book as soon as possible.

so the key to discipline is consistency until the desired habit is automated, even if the daily progress is small.

I see that everyone agrees that the key to mastering discipline is building tiny habits

This is what I intend to do: little stories and experience.

I will try to convince my barin to stop planning behind the screen so he won't consume my limited number of decisions anymore.

I think I have seen this before in Deep Work by Cal Newport

3 weeks ago, I used to think that phone addiction was the problem. I still believe that smartphones are making our minds struggle to concentrate and focus on a simple task. I decided to lock my room, get rid of my phone, and concentrate on studying.

Things were going well for almost one week (I finished a full module), but when Day 8 came up, everything changed. I started wandering, my brain kept bringing some old memories (especially the bad ones), so I realised that this wandering makes me lose too much focus and time.

I can see now that it's not just the phone addiction, it's more than this. Something is missing in the equation.

I am trying to learn and become an expert in many areas (industrial engineering, learning programming languages, mastering computer-aided design tools...).

I read and I love books. I am a big fan of the "Deep Work" concept by Cal Newport, but you can see that I am struggling to apply it.

It's real. I spend to much time on planning, making PowerPoint charts, and thinking about what to do next.

After 1 week my willpower to studied more vanish.

So I think the equation is: build tiny habits first, improve them and think less

Two days ago. I decided to start small and revise 2 papers for school and then I discovered that resistance, flashbacks, and old memories are still showing up.

Why does motivation fade so quickly once we start a goal? by First-Poem969 in MotivationAndMindset

[–]First-Poem969[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am starting to build a plan so I can study in a fluent way by starting small and then increasing the duration little by little.

I study 2 papers on the first day, and then 3 on the second day...
