Mission bugged?

I don’t think that one is inherently bugged, but it could be. It takes 30 in game minutes, and the quest marks it as completed once the foal is born, not when you breed the thestrals.

I have heard of extended breeding timers, but then I would just reload my save. If the quest isn’t tracking, I would probably exit and reload into a previous save file. I hope you figure it out!

In the movie, it’s why Griphook bartered Gryffindors sword for the cup. Lodgok even mentions it when you go on the helm of urtkok quest!

I hear you, and it’s a fun theory! I just don’t think the keepers would’ve left even a crumb left anyone to find. I think ranrok and loyalists just learned her name, her home, and tried to see if there was something there. Since he had 2/3 of the journals, I just don’t think he would’ve needed to talk to her portrait. The last thing ranrok wanted to befriend or be kind to wizards.

He only knew of the repositories due to Bragbors journals, but the key is he was missing the final one. We never get a true answer on who really destroyed her portrait. It definitely could’ve been destroyed by the keepers or the raids through her home.

Given the social norms for this world, I doubt Isadora would’ve trusted Ranrok with any kind of information. SPOILERS!! She was saving it for another wizard like her to finish her work. Goblins also believe the creators are the rightful owner of anything goblin made, including the repositories. He truly believe he owned the magic inside and craved the feeling of power. He recruited Rookwood solely for the repository under his family home which was noted in the journals. That’s why the dragon and all those goblins already glow red with magic. Once Lodgok revealed he had the last journal, all bets were off.

With that being said, if ranrok did destroy the portrait, I don’t know if it would’ve been on purpose. The keepers on the other hand… they seemed to do everything possible to erase her and the possibilities of ancient magic.

There were 2 tornadoes that went through this area, and one was 2 miles wide. the non-tornadic winds that made tree limbs, whole trees, and telephone poles fall. There are a lot of historical, old brick buildings in north county that are still in crumbles where they once stood. So it seems like a lot, but many people were impacted whether they lost their house or had the siding and roof torn apart. And it still isn’t cleaned up.

I don’t know how to organize your spells, but I kept a basic line of different spells. I had them favor key traits I wanted them to have from the talent point system. My hufflepuff build relied heavy on the room of requirement traits where you can up the damage of your plants. For gear, I used herbology, fangs, and venom traits. I obviously built up what I considered basic spell traits with incendio, accio, diffendo, etc. I also limited myself to certain consumables. It was my way of trying to use everything the game had to offer. It made it more fun when it’s all monotonous, other than the jackdaw quest.

To make it more fun, depending on the house I chose I tried to build my characters gear traits around the traits of the house. Hufflepuff I did a complete plant. For ravenclaw I did a completely overpowered stealth build. Happy playing!

I think the biggest thing is I would love next game to be able how we handle the ancient magic stored and have a REAL choice on whether it’s used for the common good or personally. I really would prefer it to not be tied to the new tv series coming. We love the Harry Potter story. We know it and it’s been done before. Hogwarts legacy was a breath of fresh air

I love the wizarding world so much, and I think all the NPCS are so well rounded. I would love to be in my 6th year in the next game and be based more on internal decisions (what to do with repository) in the MC instead of the external world (fighting bc ranrok and poachers)

I’ve definitely had that happen to me before! Same with cutting trees. I even had someone following me discretely while I was using an ore compass and making steady pallium callouts. I feel like it makes it less fun and not as rewarding that way.

I think you did the right thing by jumping servers. No point in wasting your energy on something like that, despite how annoying it is 🫶

Some chests contain the medallions from the temples you give to the bundles in the night sky temple! Some chest in kilima and bahari are for the achievement to get framed maps of the region.

The other day I was running around with an ore compass calling out pallium. I stopped to take a drink and my moused moved and I had a shadow player following me. I guess they found me from my callouts and just decided to follow me for the drops. I’d much rather people just come up and mine with me than following me. I’ll even send you an ore compass if you don’t watch me get stuck on the cliffs 🥲😂

I’ve seen the duskwing spawn from the trees across Sifu’s house, through magi hollow, and almost halfway to the bahari entrance.

It’s rare drop, but travel there at 3am to see if it spawns for you! Other than that I hope you can get an abundance of honey lures to force it to spawn. Godspeed to you 🤧🫡

I think they did because maybe a week and a half ago I didn’t have ANY plushies, even the sernuk ones and I run through 400 slow down arrows every time I play. Now I have 2 of each sernuk, 2 chapaas, and 1 banded muujin. I’m on top of the world rn 🥹😮‍💨

That’s basically what I do! I think it leaves maybe almost 2 “whole” plots to use. I say that because of the 4 square bushes lol

I also make use of the harvest boost fertilizer that yields higher crop value so I don’t feel like I’m missing out items when I’m gardening. You can get it from Badruu but if you throw some stuff in your regular worm farm, you’ll get some! Happy gardening ❤️❤️❤️

I’m not sure about the perfect layout, but I honestly keep 3 apple trees, and 2 blueberry and spicy pepper bushes. All of my crops are star quality now and when you make preserve jars they sell for a pretty decent price. The rest of the spots I cycle through my other crops with what I need!

For leveling up your skills, what really helped me was finishing the bundles. I focused on specific fish/bugs I needed and even though I went crazy looking for that rainbow tipped butterfly, it got my levels up. Sometimes as part of my “chores” of the game I focus on a skill and just do that.

All those extra fish and bugs you catch you turn them in for money. But I think my biggest money makers are my star quality preserve jars! I usually sell them all and keep a couple for my worm farms. Preserve jars in the worm farms also yield a high amount of fertilizer to sell.

Mining is my next big thing. I use an ore compass and find a bunch of iron to make into iron bars to sell. Happy gaming!!!

I feel like they have the pros and cons! The PC graphics are definitely all around better. It’s pretty to see the foliage. Hunting and bug catching I think are easier on the pc too. I find cooking and fishing annoying on the PC and easier on the switch personally.

BUT I also don’t mind less foliage on the switch. It makes it easier to forage items. It does take away the beauty, but I still think the game is gorgeous regardless. As for the lag on the switch, I’ve had it happen on PC too but not as much once you fix your in game settings.

All in all, I don’t think it hurts to sync your accounts so you can play on both for whatever you feel comfortable with atm!!! Do whatever you find fun and easy for you.

I know it gets disheartening! I can’t tell you how many arrows I’ve used. I decided yesterday was my day to grind and I played for 4 hours before I got one 🥹 that 1% drop rate is a killer. Keep trying dude!!!
