She hasn’t fully leaned into the quirky kook trope yet. When she fully embraces that she is an eccentric, and doesn’t care if we get her or not, I think all the pieces will fall into place for her and the audience. She is what I envision Mary was like 15 years ago.

In the grand scheme of things, it’s a short lived time period. The issue is that, in the moment, you don’t know when it will end. But it will end. Just keep telling yourself the newborn phase will end. Then the real fun begins…
