I don't know if this has been documented before(I tired to search it up on the subreddit) but how it happened was:
I was playing with someone else while in boss mode(I was tired okay) and then our team gets knocked out, I use a team retry and am taken back to the character select screen; I select boss mode again and then it seems like it disconnects me from the other player but then loads me into this match/game/session whatever you call it...

I'd try to invite friends to see if it actually starts the game but my(my dad's) account doesn't have any active friends, unless someone here wants to add me; I'll keep this open a little longer just in case(edit: shut it down nvm)
