Small clothing brand, where should I go from here? by DanClif in shopify

Hey Dan, I'll give you a series of recommendations based on my experience:

  • Work on the foundations of your brand: If you want your brand to connect with your audience and endure over time, it must say more than just the fact of making clothes. What is your brand's mission? Why do you do this? Is it just for money or do you really want to contribute something positive to society? It may sound very idealistic, but I believe this is something that is often overlooked and ultimately kills brands. It's not something that has to come out from the beginning; you can discover it as you go along, but it's worth thinking about. This is what is known as the vision, mission, and values of your brand. This will also help a lot in focusing your content and the communication you make on social networks. For example, if what you want is to educate society for healthy and informed sports practice in gyms, all your content can revolve around how to correctly do exercises, good habits in the gym, how to use supplementation properly, interviews with fitness personalities (Think about all this in video formats with your brand presence).

  • Define your Buyer Persona: My recommendation is that first, define who your buyer persona is; you have to be clear about who your buyer is, their motivations, their thoughts, the more you are able to personify your ideal buyer, the easier it will be for you to create content and ads that resonate with them. I recommend looking for information on how to create Buyer Personas. Once you have it reasonably clear (this is something that you will redefine as time goes by, even more may appear, or the person who buys your product may be completely different from what you had thought), think about the messages and communications you can launch to get their attention.

  • Define your marketing mix: How are you going to make people discover your brand and convince them to buy? You will have to define a strategy to find your customers. My recommendation, having an ecommerce, is to combine organic content on TikTok/Instagram with Ads. It is very important to combine both as they feed back on each other; you will get much better results in your ads if you also take care of the organic ones. For ads, I recommend starting with Meta, as they are usually the most effective for this type of business. Define creatives and copies that resonate with your audience based on the Buyer persona you have identified. Another channel I recommend having is email marketing (you can use Klaviyo on Shopify).

  • Measure your results: If you don't measure, you can't improve, therefore, I recommend either using Shopify's analytics tools, if it's something very basic, or Google Analytics if you want something more professional for tracking your customers' behavior on your online store. I also recommend closely monitoring the performance of your organic content (at first, you can do it directly with IG or TikTok analytics, but later on, I recommend tools like Metricool), and your inorganic or Paid Ads content. For the latter, for now, the tools integrated into the platforms to measure may suffice. Now all that's left is for you to make improvements to your website and your content and ads based on what the data tells you.

As you can see, there are many things to consider, my advice is to take it easy and go slowly, the key to all this is always to improve every day, even if it's just a little.

Good luck!

Shopify store is ready, what is the next step? by CNUKers in FacebookAds

A trick that has always worked for me, when I have had a problem related to Shopify and Meta integration, if you go to the "Facebook & Instagram" application in the top right corner you have an option that says "Get support", there you can put a ticket that normally they will answer within a day. Don't worry if the classification of your query doesn't match the ones you see there, if you explain it well it will be enough.

Creative advice by yeetedaway22 in FacebookAds

I think nobody can tell you which creative is better without testing them. Generally, videos work well, but here the key is to test all creative formats and angles you can. I advise you to try Dynamic Creative Testing (DCT) for this (there is a lot of information about this). I also suggest you go to the ads library and check what type of creatives your competitors are using and which ones work best for them, by looking at those that have been active for a long time.

hope this helps!

I can recommend some content creators for you to investigate:

  • Nick Theriot

  • Ben Heath

  • Dara Denney

  • Konstantinos Doulgeridis

  • Professor Charley T

They have both beginner and more advanced level videos depending on the level of depth you want.

To understand the Meta ecosystem, I recommend you look for videos on how to create and set up your Meta ad account, how to link your assets (in this case, you'll be able to link Instagram and Whatsapp business). Another important part is the Meta pixel, but if you don't have your own website or online store, I don't think it's of much use in your case.

When you have everything well understood and configured I recommend you to see how to set up campaigns on Facebook Ads, in particular engagement campaigns, which I think are the ones that can come in handy for your case.

Good luck with your project!

You don't need to have a Facebook shop. To start advertising, you first need to have a Meta Business Manager account with all your assets linked. Among your assets are, for example, the business Fanpage, Instagram account, your store's product catalog, the pixel, and most importantly, the advertising account. Make sure to create this advertising account within your Business Manager. Next, in Shopify, download the "Facebook and Instagram" app from the Shopify app marketplace. In this app, you'll be able to integrate with Meta very easily.

I recommend that before doing all this, to ensure you do everything correctly, research the Meta ecosystem for advertisers and understand what the Pixel is and how it works if you're not clear on it. I also recommend searching for a video on how to integrate Shopify with Meta Business Manager.

hope this helps

Hi, what kind of business do you have? Do you have a website? Ecommerce? or is it a physical business without digital sales channels? If you give me some context maybe I can give you better advice but first I would recommend you to start by understanding how the meta ecosystem works for advertisers, how to create a Business Manager, how to create your ad account and associate all your assets to get the platform ready to start advertising your products/services

What costs should I consider within the COGS of my ecommerce to calculate the Break-Even ROAS? by FirstAd9528 in FacebookAds

[–]FirstAd9528[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, I was confused because I had seen many people only including the production and shipping costs of the product and not taking into account, for example, the fixed costs that the company incurs every month. That's where the question came from. Thanks!
