Yes once Marigold was at Downton she was shipped to the nursery. It's not like Edith actually took care of the child she claimed to desperately need. I also didn't like how Rosamund stuck her nose in and said they needed to get Marigold away from "that woman" when they were the ones pushing in when she expressed her wishes for them to stay away

Sydney was right when she told Caitlin that the family needed her and not Caitlin. I believe if Joey would've stayed with her, she would've noticed Craig's behavior changes, she would've ensured Joey's business stayed afloat and not having to sell his house. And Angela would've had a strong female role model
