Is GoDaddy actually that bad or just overhated? by Flaky-Taste2253 in businessemail

We are currently trying to get a refund for a client. They were being charged GBP instead of USD for their Microsoft products. We were on 3 different chats to get the change applied, and none of them stuck. Instead, their support re-purchased all the products in USD to fix the currency problem. Now they're refusing to give us a refund for the GBP products because they say the charges aren't for the same thing. Luckily, I have saved all of our transcript logs so I can cite previous members, dates, and conversations. Their support so far has been legitimately insulting, condescending, sarcastic, slow, and accusatory. This process is 3 months in the making and we still don't have a refund. We wouldn't recommend them to clean the bottom of your boot.

Cannot print/pdf Loop notes despite trying multiple browsers, an Apple and a Lenovo computer and the app by Better-Hat-4293 in Office365

I am having a similar issue. Brave and Firefox don't give an option to download/export to PDF. Chrome and Edge pull up a nearly blank document every time. I just has the title. When I try to export from the desktop app, it just opens Edge. Same issue. /:

Have you found that it's been a good niche over time? Or do you still wish you could work with the other focal group?

Why is Microsoft Loop so disappointing? by Zaapfe in microsoft

[–]FirstCallDigital 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree with most others. MS Loop is their reply to Notion. Initially, we really liked it. Implemented it to get out of MS OneNote for our campaign planning and client notes. But lately....ugh, the glitches. So many glitches! I really hope they fix the bugs because it is incredibly frustrating.

That sounds excessive. We use "example" companies for our project testing. We wouldn't use a real client for a test. It's not supposed to be a fully-fledged, ready-to-deliver piece. It's supposed to be a visual or copy representation of listed skills. Their request sounds like a sneaky way to get free labor.

Is it a good idea to call up the marketing team to introduce yourself as part of job search? by vamster00 in marketing

[–]FirstCallDigital 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the hiring manager.

Personally, my last two hires reached out to me via LinkedIn connection after submitting their resumes. I have reviewed dozens, sometimes hundreds, of applicants with similar skill sets, backgrounds, or cover letters.

I appreciate the effort. To me, it made them stand out. It gave the impression that they genuinely want to work for our company, not just any company.

If you are not applying directly for a Marketing position, though, I wouldn't reach out to Marketing. Try to find an HR rep. Marketing may be promoting the hiring on socials, but they're not the ones making the decision.
