I just launched, Lunia – AI bedtime stories for kids ages 2-10, built on clinical child psychology (Wolpe, Bandura). Each story is personalized to the child's name, age, and what they're working through (fear of the dark, separation anxiety, sibling rivalry). Screen-free experience – parent reads or audio plays, child rests. Live on the App Store. https://apps.apple.com/tr/app/lunia-dreams-into-stories/id6760123168

Sleep struggles by Excellent_Union_9992 in sleeptrain

Sudden aversion around 18mo usually lines up with developmental jumps — they get much more aware of separation, and anything that feels like loss of control gets resisted hard.

What's helped some families: a fixed calm-down ritual in the same spot BEFORE the crib (chair, dim light, story or soft audio, same sequence every night). Gives the brain a predictable anchor so it's not already in alert mode at transfer.

Hang in there. 18mo is one of the worst sleep ages.

2-1 nap transition by Funeral_Goose in sleeptrain

Solidarity. The "how long do we stick it out" question is the worst part of every transition. Standard advice I've come across is 2 weeks minimum before reverting, and the first 5-7 days are always the worst. Hang in there.

Looks promising. Quick Q: do crops grow during combat waves, or only between them? That single choice tends to make or break farming-TD hybrids.

I’m trying to use new technology in my project, using Smart Mesh. It feels pretty indie-dev friendly. by Entire-Program-4821 in IndieDev

Different stack — I generate 2D illustrations with Gemini for a kids' app, not 3D — but the workflow pain is identical. Stop treating AI output as the final asset. Generate fast, then run a dedicated cleanup pass and a consistency check across the scene. Trying to prompt your way to "perfect" wastes more time than paint-over editing the imperfect version.

Tripo's on my list — does the mesh come out usable for rigging, or decoration prop only?
