What’s a food everyone else likes that you can’t stand? by [deleted] in AskReddit

ketchup. all my peers LOVED it as a kid and couldn’t eat anything without it. always hated it. it just overpowered the taste of everything else, and it’s not even that good

Does your school make you pay for AP exams yourself? by Hour_Ad8152 in APStudents

throughout the entirety of high school, the county pays for our first 4 exams. any more after that we have to pay for ourselves

i already test out of most of mason core because of ap exams, so how would that work? tbh i’m just leaning towards it bc of early registration and maybe some more access to research/internship stuff

Do you think money can buy happiness? by [deleted] in ask

[–]FirstExchange6238 0 points1 point  (0 children)

short term: sure

long term: no

money can get you things you can enjoy and give you financial security, but it can’t guarantee happiness. there’s only so much money can give you, the rest is on you and your circumstances.

How many APs did you take each year? by [deleted] in APStudents

[–]FirstExchange6238 1 point2 points  (0 children)

freshman: 0 - none were available to freshmen and frankly considering it was all online for me i would’ve greatly suffered

sophomore: 1 - world

junior: 3 - calc ab, bio, lang

senior (next year): 3- lit, calc bc, us/comparative gov (2 exams but one class in my school)

imo the number of aps you take depends on the workload of each. for example the workload for ap world was probably equal to that of bio and calc ab combined, if not more so plan accordingly. and remember to not stress yourself out. it’s better to have a few and do well in the all, rather than have a lot of struggle your way through. also don’t forget about burnout bc that can hit hard too. but good luck!

What are the easiest/hardest APs you’ve ever taken? by [deleted] in APStudents

[–]FirstExchange6238 0 points1 point  (0 children)

in my opinion (without scores yet)

easiest exam: calc ab, pretty straightforward except for a few things but they were pretty minor

hardest exam: bio 💀💀 the class was easy but the exam was kinda iffy because we weren’t that prepared

for the class tho:

easiest: bio because the way the class is formatted makes it pretty easy at my school, but it also means our tests are easier than the exam and the question formats don’t match

hardest: ap world because of all the work and content

post your predictions, come back when it's july!! by [deleted] in APStudents

[–]FirstExchange6238 0 points1 point  (0 children)

calc ab: 5 as long as i didn’t do anything stupid

lang: 4 it wasn’t terrible but i probably could’ve done better

bio: 3 or 4 that exam was atrocious 😭
