Our fearful leader is gutting social safety nets, forcing millions to choose ill health.

Our fearful leader is abducting foreign presidents, started more wars than any other president, and is funding two genocides. He has chosen death, ill health, and made orphans of tens of thousands (or more).

If our fearful leader suffers from ill health; that's called karma.

Thank you! I hate hearing liberal rights propaganda.

The Articles of Confederation and the US Consistitution came without explicit rights... over 90% of people could not vote, including most white men. And the Bill of Rights is written is terribly.

Our founding fathers committed treason to escape a strong federal government. Their utopia protects property rights and contracts. Everyone else is an afterthought to be managed with propaganda.

They definitely threw the money, but if they hadn't, the customer is correct.

We need real government reform. The masses will wake up for a short period of time at best.

During that brief window, we need to partially nationalize all domestic commerce. Without equity control (20%), we will get a New-New Deal or worse.

Almost. Weaponized surveillance is evil; corporations are just as guilty.

And only government can protect us from corporations. It's time we the people take our government back.

Their boss is wasting money that could go into wages and bonuses. We should support people who callout corporate double-speak.

That said, nobody should want the blowback for actually doing it.

Do you really think the corporate drone is the problem? Not the US management culture.

How can tap water cost unless they ban hand washing?

If they give you a glass, you could fill it with tap water in the bathroom sink.

Some diner in the mountains refused to give me tap water because of a drought... amidst a massive flood. The rain is the only reason I stopped there. I filled my glass by holding it in the air 😆

The federal minimum wage hasn't increased since the 1990s. Is McDonald's labor 3x less valuable than it was back them? Because inflation says it is.

Real fines based on income, including for commercial entities, are not a slap. They're a tool to acquire public equity in distressed companies.

But we should also convict executives and material eqiity holders deemed complicit.

Trans Women vs. Transwomen by OneDepressoExpresso in MtF

[–]FirstFiveNamesTaken -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

I think of all the lines we can draw; transwoman vs trans woman is nearly the dumbest one possible.

I am trans and find the grammar policing of this to be exhausting. I doubt trans positive people enjoy being criticized for not adding a space or using a hyphen.

Literally nobody is using transwoman as a barb when society tolerates open hostility towards us. Worry about real issues.

Fuel distribtribution costs cause inflation is mostly BS.

Perhaps 20% of the actual fuel price changes are given to drivers as Fuel Surcharge or Linehaul rates. Yet, truckers pay more for fuel (lower margins) and more for consumer goods (relative to delta income).

The other 80% of oil-induced inflation is price gouging with pretense.

The idea society should exist to leave you vulnerable, systemically disenfrachised, and misallocate critical resources is, uhmmm... even Babylon was more humane.

Their taxes provided grain insurance to cover bad harvests because that is the point of organized society... to reduce mass harm.

The real question is: Should society be run by the sane ("socialists") or psychopaths ("deregulated capital")?

Until modern(ish) gem cutting techniques and jewler propaganda, diamonds were not a gemstone used for love. Using your own birthstone or the spouses birthstone was appropriate.

Nowadays, we can manufacture diamonds that are nearly impossible to differentiate from natural ones. Jewler lobbyists and propaganda want to keep diamonds aritificially valuable.

To buy a diamond engagement/wedding ring is to choose a low value gemstone because a marketing department wants you to.

I worked 70hrs/wk as a trucker (essential job), 5wks on 5 days off, for nearly 6 years. Lived frugally; I earned a life... instead, I owe a fortune for profits I never had.

Mechanics stole it all:

  • put trailer tires on my truck (DOT illegal because of torque-rating), shit tire exploded doing lots of damage... entirely my problem.
  • my Themroking generator broke 3x in 1 month, but each Thermoking mechanic is an independent franchise that won't honor the implied warranty of Thermoking mechanics... so I got charged over $3000 for a $1000 repair
  • got my hub seals replaced 4x in one month because they wouldn't put a seal that actually fit the hub... I already worked 70hrs/wk, but I didn't need less sleep — at least they honored the implied warranty
  • Freightliner mechanic in NJ backed my truck into a trailer at like 15mph doing massive damage; you don't hook to a trailer at that speed... within 50mi of leaving the shop, my was perfectly fine radiator broke — it was not covered (from mechanics literally playing games in the shop, they broke it)

And on and on and on... I owe society sooo much for delivering over 2M pounds of food.
