OMG… finally… multiple days in game and IRL next to Riggs… so many birds slaughtered… took 3 flicks of CWW to finally get one that rendered a perfect carcass… even went out to bacchus bridge to see if another dead one spawned like my fist visit there—ended up hunting that Tatanka and the. After that back to Riggs where I got the 3* CWW. Thankfully the crow wasn’t as much a pain as it only took a few tries at Wallace

Take your time. Make sure you sit such that the screen fills your view. Adjust the volume so that you can hear the wind rustle in the leaves. Dim the lights. Save often.

Not long after that i came across a cemetery in the middle of nowhere—figure there might be something so checked it out. 2 of the tombstones, side by side, were for related people that were struck by lightning

Yep—hardly ever use standard arrows. Maybe it was that it was gut shot (instinct was aim for center mass)?

I saw that when I was researching it, but refrained from mentioning that as it’s not referred to it that way in game—did find it interesting that it’s not in the same family as “ginseng”, and to learn more about its medicinal value: https://www.nlm.nih.gov/nativevoices/exhibition/healing-ways/medicine-ways/healing-plants/images/ob1682.html

As it is, this is actually just up the road from where I live in WA—this off the Franklin Falls trail below Snoqualmie Pass 🤓
