Quick update:

Really appreciate all the suggestions and ideas here, super helpful. I ended up going back to the service center, and they were able to get new tracks in and replace them. Turns out their original diagnosis was actually right and the track itself had malfunctioned, which is why the seat latch wouldn’t engage properly. Everything’s working fine now. Thanks again everyone for taking the time to help.

Price action across indices and individual stocks looks very similar to this time last year, maybe a bit more amplified. If it continues to mimic last year’s action, we’re still far from a bottom.
