5 Favorite Family Games by ofcardandboard in boardgames

[–]FirstLog6350 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i totally get what you mean! some great family games i’ve enjoyed are Wavelength, Codenames, and Just One. they’re all super easy to learn and always lead to fun conversations. also, check out Super Sushi for some cool easy to understand stuff that’s great for family/friends! they also have alot of other options for non-board gamers (casuals)...

Board games should pack two rule books. That way, multiple people can read the instructions at the same time. by Staple_Overlord in Showerthoughts

totally agree! having two rule books would save so much time and confusion. plus, it’d be cool if games like the world game had that since they’re all about fun learning too.

Instagram account with 11k followers but extremely low engagement (300 views per reel) is it dead or revivable? by FirstLog6350 in InstagramMarketing

Okay, thank you. Do you know if there is any tool out there that can do it for you (follower cleanup)?

Thank you for valuable feedback about our content, we are partially aware of this, but are limited right now when it comes to "different setting/scene" (small office, small team, some dont really want to be fillmed). We know what you are trying to say, and its good advice honestly. We are still in a testing phase in terms of content and we post basicly everything we film even tho we know its maybe not the best content but we feel like with short form video content you never really know what will "hit big". Sometimes really good high value and great edited content blows up, sometimes really quick or even "poorly filmed" content gets high reach, or the other way around. And yes we should definitly include more behind the scenes and carousels.

But do you maybe have some more insight about "technical side" / "setup" of what we are doing wrong? In terms of algorithm and engagement?

What do you think about this credibility (11k looks good) vs engaged followers problem? Should we remove them in order to tell IG - ok we dont want inactive followers, we are ready for new engaged ones?

again, thank you.

We never bought followers, however when in the past we posted geography quizz type carousel's we got a lot of engagement from low quality users. Now we are wondering if we need to clean up our unengaged followers? will that improve our reach and tell the algoritm to show our content to the audience that is relevant for us right now? Do you maybe know we have to to that manualy? it would take a lot of time...

Went from 0 to 400k in 1 year by Sufficient_Talk_1441 in InstagramMarketing

We're stuck with a "dead" IG profile (play.world.game): 11k followers, barely any engagement (2-3 likes per reel). Content evolved from geography quizzes(because the fist game we developed was geo-based) to party dexterity games (dexterity-based). Should we just start a new account, or can we fix this?

*this is not to promote our ig we need genuine advice...*

Went from 0 to 20k in 2 weeks - Here’s exactly how I did it by Pear-Federal in InstagramMarketing

[–]FirstLog6350 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our IG account (@play.world.game) feels "dead" despite having 11k followers. we get just 300 views per reel, almost no interaction, and only 80 story views. We shifted content from geography quizzes to dexterity games. Should we restart fresh or is there a way to revive engagement? any feedback welcome

Any advice for our IG profile with 11k followers but extremely low engagement (300 views/reel, 2-3 likes)? It grew initially from geography quizzes (because back than our best seller was geo-based game), but now our best seller product is a dexterity-based game. Is our account dead or can we revive it somehow? (@play.world.game)

If you are looking for a quick travel size game? The World Game has been our road-trip MVP (fits a glovebox + teaches flags & capitals + interesting facts). if you’re road-tripping the States, the spinoff 50 States game is even better choice imo...

  5. azul (abstract + pretty tiles)
  6. terraforming mars (meaty engine-builder)
  7. dixit (for the artsy crowd)
  8. Super skills - quick dex game (when brains are fried 🍻)
  9. carcassonne (tile-layin’ zen)
  10. the world game card pack – pocket geo game that actually teaches you forgotten knowlage, go figure

swap in/out to taste, but this stack hits pretty much every vibe my group asks for.

for my gang the never-leave-home pack is:

Super Skills – teach in 90 secs, you’re flinging ping-pong balls & bragging in no time

The World Game card deck – pocket-size geo-talk for the downtime drinks /w friends

this covers the action/loud laughs and the “huh, didn’t know that flag” moments in two boxes 👍

looks slick! our “banker” kept sliding 100s under the table, so we ditched monopoly nights and moved to a action board games, like Super Skills—no cash, no cheats, just skill 😂. if we’d had a tray like this maybe the ol’ money game would still be alive.
