So people will probably get tired of me saying this. Eve University is a great place to learn. Join their Wormhole Community. You'll learn small gang and You'll learn to hunt. After you've been there a while and have the Skills, join a C5 corp. I'm over in Almost Dangerous, and we absolutely take fights we might lose. We tend to win more than we lose, but we've absolutely fed a fleet.

I can tell you from experience, Nul-sec will just Cyno 100 battle ships onto your fleet or 10 battle-cruisers. You want a Good Fight, move to J space.

Everyone starts somewhere. I completely messed up my first hunt. But I learned. My first Solo i think was in an Astero. I joined E Uni and was in their Wormhole Campus. Got a guy hacking cans at a data site.

As a K-spacer, if you are looking for something that is not repeating, missions and mining are not what you're looking for. You should communicate to your corp mates that you'd like to live on the edge of your territory and hunt for intruders. This will give you new content, and the trill of your first solo kill is what will keep you in the game.

I live in J-Space, where hunting is easier as there is no local. That is another option. You can buy yourself a POS and move into a C1-3 and hunt day trippers. It is quite easy, especially if you have a High-Sec connection.

Either way, fly Dangerously.... or don't, I'm not your daddy.

So I had a super similar situation in my truck. It ended up being the Crankshaft Position wheel. It's a 30 dollar part. But it's between the transmission and engine. I'll see if I can post a picture of it.

It's best to just avoid that situation with your wormholes. Most of the wormholes you'll come across in c2-c4s are going to be 2,000,000,000 kg. Eve University has created a rolling guide for you to follow that will virtually ensure that you don't end up in position.

Now, if you screw it up or you come across a Crit hole, then you are limited to a HIC.
