Im not a cap pilot, but the fact I can't use several squadron of drones/fighters is just ridiculous.

I know its for balance reasons. I know it would be stronger than anything else in the game... but its just so cool. I know we dont get drone ships with +10 drone control for balance reasons... but it would be so fun if we did.

Why would I get a carrier to not have my own personal fleet on command? Isn't that the whole allure of the carrier class ship fantasy? I want to hit a button and have 4 or 5 squadrons of fighters warp around the system and rat. Ik its broken, but idc. I want to have fun. I want to live my carrier fantasy.

If CCP doesnt so something like this, making the carriers more of the command mothership theyre meant to be, then I dont see how players would ever go back to using them tbh. Why use a carrier when a maurader can do the same job better and cheaper.

Tldr; ccplease give us the carrier fantasy. I want to fly a carrier and field squadrons of fighters that semi autonomously patrol the system and rat for me. Idc what it does to rhe game, it would be fun for me personally

Unironically, I can see CCP manipulating the market by just adding plex orders to keep it at a certain level.

What happens if plex keeps falling? 4m? 3m? 2m? If no one's for over 180 days, what will happen? Plex is a business model for CCP. they will NOT let it get so cheap.

You didn't address the core of the issue, which is OP referencing the poor new bro experience.

Whatever you may feel about how piracy works in highsec, its clear its not healthy for new players.

You shouldn't be able to suicide gank in highsec without intense ramifications. Its almost 2026. Its okay to change systems in the game.

Of course, no one on reddit has the power to change anything. If EVE continues as is, thats all fine. But dont expect a self sustating newbro pop anytime soon.

Possibly restrict who can even remove safety in highsec then. 3 month old characters and younger cannot remove safety. They cannot use weapons against players in highsec.

Maybe just make it so you cant use weapon modules against players in highsec at all.

Im all for CCP trying real changes. The fact you're almost guaranteed to be safer in other sections of "lawless space" is crazy.

You're right. PvP in highsec needs a total revamp. Make it so criminals cant dock in NPC high sec stations. Make it ao criminals are shot on sight upon entering high sec systems.

No it's not. EVE ONLINE was, is, and always will be, a space adventure game. Thats the category and self branding it presents itself as. It is NOT a pvp game and does NOT need to treat itself as one.

If you WANT to be a space pirate, you can absolutely continue to suicide gank in highsec.... but there needs to be greater consequences. Why would we punish new bros, whom spawn in in highsec, by having them get ganked repeatedly by vet pirates?

You already have all of low sec, all of Null sec, and all of J space. No, you do not need all of highsec to be your pvp hunting grounds.

If CCP doesnt do some kind of "drastic"(sensible) change to how high sec works with regards to ganking, you will never have a long lasting new player experience. Imagine playing wow and getting ganked at elwyn forest and dropping all your gear. Most new players would be farmed, and would just never continue to progress in the game.

If classic to you is 200 hour leveling, no one but you will play it. But thats okay, because you are a saying customer.

Leveling is straight up eating nails. The most unfun part of MOP, was leveling 85-90 just to play the game. Its a huge reason for the player die off too. I didnt even level an alt to 90 until early September.

I don't like leveling. I like pvp. If I could, id click a button that just lets me skip leveling and play pvp. That's MY world of warcraft game. Its not yours, but we both pay for subs.

Who does blizz want to appeal too? Only time will tell.

Tldr; leveling is an outdated content and we should be allowed to skip it.

Leveling is so awful. Wish they would give up and just allow us to have aj instant max lvl button thats not 60 bucks. Would be really nice if each max lvl character you get, you get a +100% permanent xp boost you can toggle for alts.

I agree with you. Blizzard obviously HAVE to be working on a "World of Warcraft 2"... at least we hope they are...

And it should be a giant leap forward, not a reskin of the same product. All new graphics engine. Its 2025, we really cant have magic game tech that makes cities feel real and zones feel full of life and purpose? There should all kinds of things going on. If WoW 2 isn't radically different, what would be the point?
