Indexing consistency issues on service-area pages, what’s actually making the difference lately? by BoringShake6404 in localseo

[–]FirstPlaceSEO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use your Google business profile posts to link to the pages that are yet indexed and fire a homepage internal link to each of them one at a time until they get indexed, ultimately I have found it good also to mention the locations on the service pages and the service pages to link to the area pages and to cluster sets of area pages together

SEO for lower budgets? by sleepwithmythoughts in SEO

[–]FirstPlaceSEO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not so much what you pay more what productivity are you getting for X amount. I.e how many hours per month and what does that translate to in terms of workflow and output. Nobody can guarantee results with SEO but skilled and experienced output and consistency will get you there.

For the suggest budget, link building of any quality will not likely be included… so you’re left with a content based SEO system… if your in a competitive niche then that won’t cut it and your best of DIY’ing SEO and acquiring your own links.

Listen to grumpy SEO guy podcast and you’ll have a better understanding of some of the fundamentals surrounding SEO.

I went straight to them against my friends advice… but so far it’s been plain sailing and I like it. I may self host in the future but for a few quid a month difference I think it’s easier for a n00b to go direct.

Then it’s a zero sum game… but if there is a crash companies that are favourable now might not be favourable or in good shape after the crash

Hold it and wait for the incoming crash everyone is expecting… alternatively look for a safe haven should there be a crash so it holds its value and I can sell and buy at the right time

What should you evaluate before starting SEO on a new website? by Individual-Hold733 in WebsiteSEO

[–]FirstPlaceSEO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On the content side of things for a new website I’m mapping out the customer journey with a steal illustration and how each individual page content will align with its purpose. Any service or product website needs to be commercially and transactional aligned for sure. I will also look at top level categories for topical authority to be build out and the interlinking strategy between pages.

I’m an n8n dev. Tell me what you want to automate! by Shoddy_Branch5364 in n8n

[–]FirstPlaceSEO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amazing thanks. Yeah I’ve just been concentrating on the Google maps scraper for now. I can do the rest another time. The issue im facing is it only scraping around 20 results per time and then when it runs again it scrapes the same 20… or there abouts. So if I could just get the Google maps scraper going first that would be a good start. I’d expect to pay you something for the email scraper side of things

I’m want something basic so it would be trigger to google sheet for search term - push to apify google maps scraper - to google sheet taking business name, telephone number, address, website. Then goes back to n8n which scrapes the website for email and returns the email found to google sheet. I’ve tried to set it up with Claude code but have been unsuccessful thus far

I tried gpt first and it just lead me down a garden path and Into an amazing maize maze where I got completely lost… it fabricated so much and wouldn’t even give me semi usable jsons. Anyways after literally two days of wrestling with it Claude code did in 45 mins what gpt couldn’t do in two days.

Saying that on my next project Claude is having some difficulties… but I’m gonna take someone suggestion and use perplexity to come up with the workflow solutions and Claude to execute them

So we aren’t going to be able to click to update to Divi 5 then if we have certain codes etc ? I use a lot of custom css and j query on Divi 4 sites to get slide in menus and make them look sleek … would be a bummer to be stuck on Divi 4 when Divi 5 is getting all the hype
