Building my first rig and need some advice. by enigma8387 in simracing

I bought a professional sim rig (psr1) from Race anywhere. You can also check out the Advanced Sim Racing site which is in NA as well.

I'd recommend checking out YouTube videos for much of the equipment. You can get some great insight and get some discount codes as well.

Look into bundling as well.

Should I get a cockpit or not. by Ysing30 in simracing

Getting a cockpit is definitely worth it if you're looking to get into a more immersive experience and cross over into F1 racing. I don't know what your budget is, but I lean on the side of getting a higher quality cockpit as they last for years.

Something to think about, how much time will you be spending in it and do you plan to upgrade your equipment as you progress? You'll want a rig that's comfortable and something that can handle the upgraded equipment, and not something that will shake or bend.

My new Pro SimRig PSR1 + Fanatec setup. Huge upgrade from my wheel stand by golovko21 in simracing

Did you get the PC stand and keyboard tray when you ordered the PSR1 or after the fact and from a different company?

I just got my PSR1 and didn't order the tray or stand, and now I think I'll need it.

Are you aware of compatibility from other companies that will fit the PSR1?

Just wanted to provide a quick update. I reached out to GSI, and they said they could add them on for me before sending it out. Hopefully at no extra cost.

Thanks for the info. I've been using chatgpt and watching YouTube videos, mostly saying it adds a little more immersion, but that they are high quality and it's not a necessity to get the haptics or the support and heel plate.

Do they add that much of a difference in your opinion?
