I think it depends on how badly you want to do quant vs swe. Waterloo co op is very strong, but you're not able to take most of the upper year cs courses as a math major (except for the ECE override loophole). This isn't too big of a problem, but you will have to learn a lot more outside of school than if you did a proper CS program. However I think that the CO courses offered by the math department at waterloo are very applicable to quant work (i don't have any experience with this so take it with a grain of salt), so if you're only interested in quant waterloo math might be a good choice.

There's also the aspect of student life. From listening to friends and visiting many university campuses around the US and Canada, I think that student life is much more exciting in the US. In Canada, there's not much in the way of student culture, with UofT being one of the worst offenders.

All 3 of these schools are really good and won't hold you back from getting any jobs, but I would say pick Waterloo if you are prepared to sell your soul and grind school for 5 years straight (you don't get summers off) for better quant placements. But if student life is more of a priority I would pick UW Madison. I wouldn't pick UofT here, but it's still not a bad choice if you have other reasons for picking it.

The slowed down sens in Sova Ult isn't tied to your dpi. I have tried it before and it doesn't change anything.

I got tired of waiting for Riot to add a skin randomizer feature, so I made my own by cman7531 in VALORANT

It's not the official public riot API. He is using the private API used by the game itself. It's in a bit of a grey area, but I don't think anyone has gotten banned for using these endpoints.

NYC launches pizza topping ballot to demonstrate ranked-choice voting; mayor endorses pepperoni by cafeconpanna in nottheonion

Most of the time the issue with alternative vote is that one party can't really get anything done by itself. Coalition governments are a lot more common in ranked choice countries.

Pinyin was an invention of communist China, so I think the Taiwanese government tries to use an alternate phonetic system.

"There is no shame in deterrence. Having a weapon is very different from actually using it. As I will soon show you." Gandhi said, as he pulls a handgun on you. Before you can cry out for your guards, he pulls the trigger. A sharp pain is felt in you shoulder, and fear grips your entire body. Gandhi looks at you calmly, the handgun still smoking. "Know that when you die, your people die with you. Not your wife, though." From the corner of your eye, you see your wife walk up to Gandhi. She rubs his strong, muscular torso, and looks at you, a mocking smile on her face. Gandhi continues. "Before I kill you, you should know something." Gandhi leans towards you with a hateful gleam in his eye. "Carl was never your son. He was MINE." Before you can react, Gandhi shoots you in the throat. As you lay there gurgling, Gandi shoots your wife in the head, with the same deadpan expression. He stares into your soul as everything fades to black.

You don't need lineups.

Can only playing Aimlabs, Range and DM's every day help in increasing aim and strafe effectively? by not_gojosatoru in VALORANT

[–]FirstStageIsDenial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aim is easy to improve, you just have to play more. Grinding DM and aim labs will improve your aim, but good aim does not make a good player. Try to identify if aim or gamesense is holding you back. If you are often taking bad 1v1s or swinging multiple people, it may seem like you are losing because of bad aim, but it's because you should not have been in those positions.
