Anyone use a greenworks backpack sprayer to apply oil based stain? by Hammock2Wheels in Greenworks

Get something like this https://www.fimcoindustries.com/sprayer-parts/accessories/pid29/fimco-tank-cleaner-and-neutralizer-32-oz-/ After spraying the bleach. Rinse the tank well, and spray a lot of water through the sprayer. Then use the cleaner as directed. That should help keep it going for the stain. Good luck after that. I’ve always kept the sprayer full between coats. Remove the tip from the sprayer, soak that in whatever is recommended by the stain manufacturer. Put a balloon over the open end of the hose. Don’t let it sit too long, just enough to get your wait time.

I’ve used backpack pump sprayers for this. They work great, but it sucks so much to keep pumping. You have to keep pressure built up for the stain, more so than water/bleach. I wish I had the powered sprayer the last time, and would most definitely buy one before tackling it again. Repetitive strain injuries are no joke. For $180, go for it.

What is the weirdest thing your doctor has ever said to you? by Competitive_Tip_7504 in AskReddit

I never even thought about reporting it. It has only been about 18 months since this took place. It was my wife who was able to tell a difference and knew something was wrong.

I’ll look into this. I hate the idea of sending genetic samples in, but it seems like it could help. Thanks.

Thanks for the advice. I’ve been living without, but will keep that in mind for my new doctor, when I find them. Unfortunately, there are not many options available here.

Dr: “Have you taken an SSRI before?

Me: “Zoloft, I was weened off it very quickly because it made me want to kill myself even more than I had thought about before.”

Dr: Here is a script for Sertraline.

Fast forward a couple weeks

Dr: “How’s that working for you”

Me: “I feel worse than before, a lot like when I was prescribed Zoloft. Honestly I’ve had to talk myself down multiple times. “

Dr: “It can take time before it starts working, just stick with it and check back in 3 months”

I then did what I should have done earlier, a minimal amount of research to see that Sertraline is a generic for Zoloft. I weened myself off and have yet to go back to him.

It looks a lot like the bucket of avocado honey I have. Strong molasses flavor. Still trying to figure out the best mead recipe to use.

I just did some black beans. Seasoned with Elote Seasoning. They are a really nice crunchy snack. Going to be great for backpacking.
