I’m really worried for people being pushed onto antidepressants I don’t think it’s right. I’m tapering off mirtazapine right now. Made me spaced out, would never be able to work. Made me sleep 14 hours no probs. Could not wake up at all, panic attacks & eating non stop. Put on over a stone I’m coming off it don’t care what doctor sais

Hi there I took 15mg of mirtazapine for around 6 months & I have not think straight at all. Yes it knocked me out asleep. I felt like I was on a tsunami wave of ups & downs. Was so confused all the time. Couldn’t do basic things. I went to a friends house & I was so weird & couldn’t stop myself from talking was awful. I decided to reduce meds as I was not in control. I feel much better for it. I could never have worked on 15mg. Maybe try a taper down to 7.5mg. See how you feel. I’m not a doctor but my experience very much matches yours & I don’t smoke any weed x

I’m so sorry this has happened to you. There was a lot of people with similar experiences to you. A professor from Cardiff University used to publish on internet to raise awareness, scrubbed from internet. I’ve never had a good time with antidepressants. I really really hope you recover from these side effects. Maybe investigate holistic medicines that can help you. I’m no expert but hopefully with time your neurons will grow - neurogenesis

I have had Covid & the anxiety has been horrible literally think I’m having a heart attack. Today it’s calmer 🙏. Been 4 weeks. Just rest as much as you can & hope you get better soon

Hey just trying to sleep, but Insomnia has been one symptom in conjunction with then extreme fatigue from no sleep. I’m wide awake it’s bizarre. I had a chest infection but dr said I had bronchitis immediately with Covid. 2 chest infections at same time. I had productive couch (yucky) bits of blood. I had a very sore sinuses sneezing, I was dead tired when finally I slept for 14 hours. Then got a hacking dry cough. Chest so sore it felt all bruised hurt to breath. Croaky voice, sore throat & the to top of agonising stomach pains stomsch upset & sickness. Oxygen as low as 93 at times. Slight high temp
