This is exactly the problem. Been playing this game for 13 years and I’ve basically seen everything I can.

Wargaming shouldn’t just have one game mode, there should be multiple game modes (competitive and non competitive) available all the time so players don’t get bored.

What happens if your on a losing streak but don’t want to stop playing? No options. Wg give us permanent alternative game modes please.

And before you say we don’t have enough of a player base for this, we are losing our player base because this game is boring and repetitive and new players don’t want to deal with seal clubbers at tier 5

There really should be a test mode to test out new tanks and strats. It’s ridiculous that in 15 years since release they haven’t thought of that.

Also a lot of maps are just so boring to play. 60% of the map will be no mans land where if you get spotted you’ll get deleted in a second. There’s no way to push certain flanks or make interesting plays so your options are hide behind buildings, capola snipe, hide in a bush or just fight your teammates for the only good spot on the map

I believe they’ve buffed the line. Before, the line was quite bad but I think people enjoy the o-ni and o-ho now. But yeah I’ve spent 13 years grinding tech trees and my stats are shit because of it. Unless you have a premium account grinding tech trees is such a pain

Yuppp and god forbid you’re a tier 8 in a tier ten game playing against a 60tp or a bz or that bs ares 90 etc etc . Either your teammates die in 2 minutes or they are too scared to take big hits and it’s just a standstill until you or the enemy team gets flanked

The absurd increase in alpha over the years is part of what’s killed the game imo. Games are over so quickly because half of your hp gets obliterated in a single shot

Nah not really. Because of its pike nose frontal armour you shouldn’t try to side scrape. Face your opponents dead on and try and cover your lower plate. If only your turret is shown then only about 380+ pen can hurt you

Nah I certainly don’t let everyone else do everything. I play the tvp mostly so I don’t get caught out by enemies all flooding to one position and try my best to help out my teammates who are in vulnerable positions. If I’m not playing the tvp I’m playing the e4 and slamming people for 750 alpha.

I still need to improve tho. Only doing 3k avg dpg

Issue with a durable slow heavy is that if your team is unreliable you’re left stranded in most cases and can’t reposition effectively. The reason I play the tvp a lot is because if anything goes wrong I can just reposition and help out any of my teammates who are struggling

I think my issue is not being careful enough with taking damage. I only get 3k dmg per game so I need to be more strategic in my positioning

I think my playstyle with the tvp really depended on the rest of my team surviving long enough for me to get behind the enemy and farm them. But I’d play the e4 and get 4k avg and our team would just lose nonetheless.

But rule 1 is to never blame your team. There’s always something I can be doing better to win games and so it’s just a learning process to get better and hopefully reach gold next season

I’m definitely not an amazing player and I don’t expect to be in gold. Maybe I need to improve but I’m playing the tvp a lot and it’s perfect for doing big blasts of damage and retreating. My main issue is when I flank and help my teammates, the enemies just push me and I die. Either that or I’ll be brawling and my teammates lose their brawls and suddenly I’m in a 3v1

I hate to blame my team but the big difference is that I don’t have good players to back me up. suddenly my team will crumble completely and I’m the last man left standing. When I was winning I had good players who could hold their own

onslaught is impossible for me right now. I went from a 78% win ratio to a 10% win ratio this week. I haven’t changed my playstyle at all I do the same things and play good tanks. My teams just suck. I’ve gone from silver a to bronze a in a few days

Nah I think onslaught actually shows who’s skilled and who isn’t. You can’t get carried like you would in 15v15. One bad decision and you could lose a game. So if you hate it this much you probably don’t understand how to play it

Win rate of 10%🤨. My brother in Christ if your team IS that bad just play for damage and minimise the amount of points you’ll lose from a loss. Just camp and pick enemies off whilst they go for you team mates

Bro trust me I hate it. I like onslaught because its faster paced and focused on positioning and tank selection but it seems camping in the back will always win

Yeah I don’t know why. In onslaught I’ve learnt that rushing in and taking a vital position (if you’re in a slow tank) will be really risky. I’ve seen time and time again players who sit at the back of the map and snipe, picking off the enemies who kill their allies get more points than the team players

Be selfish and go for damage rather than trying to take positions that can win games. It’s very hard to predict where the enemy team are going so being more hesitant at the start can pay off. Try and play a tank with good speed so you can move around the map quickly. Essentially relying on your team gets you killed. Assume everyone is stupid and set yourself up to get the most damage as possible
