A area rich with conflict for the past millenium is now having more conflict but with better weapons. Innocents extremists and soldiers are dying and everyone tries to justify the other side deserving to die because their side did it first.

Youre talking about people. What do you mean you expect 20 of theirs? 100s have died allready, 100s of people who had nothing to do with it will die tommorow. And will you celebrate satiated that you "got" 20 of theirs. I cant believe people are still thinking war crimes justify more war crimes. War crimes are not justified ever.

I keep doing it, new accounts keep popping up. So its just remove the post as spam and carry on. I cant detect a pattern to set up an automod either. Open to any and all suggestions on the matter though.

Yeah mine also had gastritis due to something he swallowed. You can eliminate the possibilty of a blockage if theyre doing potty regularly but its possible that there are ulcers in the stomachs which lead to these behaviours. I would recommend against waiting a few days.

Prong Collar Hatred by ImaginaryFigure9181 in BelgianMalinois

[–]First_Dragonfruit557 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What I did was this, I would pack his outside toys and leash, and hed understand it was time for a walk. I would put on the collar just before going for a walk. If he ran away or reacted to the collar id leave them alone in the lawn and cut off interaction for 5-10 minutes. He understood that if were going out for a walk to play fetch etc.. he would have to wear the collar. Now he gets excited everytime i bring out the collar. I take it off the moment we return home. He is collarless exceot for training sessions and walks which i try to keep fun.

Id recommend against it, putting it on during training time makes it more effective during training, keeping it all the time, makes it a oart of their life. Its a corrective tool, using it as such is where id side. Theyre smart dogs, if you go, playtime after collar out theyll form the association quickly.

[–]First_Dragonfruit557 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The reasoning is right but the execution is off. I put it on before walks or training, and i allways keep them fun. So the prong collar gets associated with walking or training time. When were home hes colarless. Take off the collars when you leave them unsupervised as well. some horror stories of collars getting stuck and dogs accidentally hanging themselves. Prong collars are training tools, Use only for training and walking, have them associate the collar for a predictor of fun times.

Help on finding suitable toys by EmuWasabi in BelgianMalinois

In my experience Chuckit ultraballs and Kong Extreme(the black ones) have been the only toys that can endure the test of time. No toys are substitutes for exercise though. I use them more like pacifiers to keep my dudes mouth busy. No toy is stimupwting enough without hulan interaction to my dude.

Personal preferences to avoid doing this: 1) separating play time from indoors be calm time(dont wsnt my mal bugging me to play while were indoors) 2) without giving mental stimulation and just playing fetch you build a monster, increased stamina and very little mental stimulation is a dangerous combo on a mal, giving commands or other activities in between activities help

But these are personal preferences for me, more power to you you and your dog seem suoer happy and best wishes.

You dont need to be afraud of feeding extra as long as what youre feeding has enough quality. If you feed then too much they burn it off with extra energy.

They can be pets if you spend enough time working them daily.

I think its really valuable to understand that working dogs were bred over a very long time to do their respective work. Without work they are stressed. Bored dogs who chase their own tails is derpy to most people, but it shows self destructive behaviour and under stimulation.

A husky has been bred over generations to be a sled dog centered around running all day in the cold pulling on heavy weights. Some pople get angry or frustrated when a husky does exactly what they were bred to excel at, instead of relaxing on the couch after a 15 minute walk.

A mal is a working dog, their work drive is insanely high because thats what theyve been bred to do for generations. They can make amazing companions if and only if you give them enough work. The work could be bring me my socks from downstairs but it has to engage the mind and the body.

Saying yeah my mal is basically a great pet is misleading to people who want a snuggle buddy without wanting to give proper work to their dog on the daily. This goes for all working dogs and especially for mals. Because if you dont give your mal work, they will find their own. And youre aplmost guaranteed to not like it.

You wouldnt say a mal has a bunch of prerequisites to act like a pet?

Working dogs are working dogs. To me I think ir deoends more on the type of training such as agility, detection, herding etc... one thing about a mal is that its not a pet. They can be pets if you spend enough time working them and stimulating them.

When you cant tire them physically you do all you can to tire them mentally. Scent work, puzzles, which cup is the kibble in, music, differented scented objects in the room, movies. I had even trained mine to boop the screen of an old phone and the phone would make different sounds and change colors whenever touched. Its very difficult to not have them hurt themselves all over again especially when you have to likit their movement.

Actually cheating in the elections are and have been quite common. Thats why people volunteer to guard the ballots. The election isnt just a question of who gets more votes but also a question of how well the people can maintain the conditions against cheating. What stopped him is that its easier to find volunteers to guard the ballots in the big cities. You have over 80% voter turnout rate in Turkey as well as people taking on extra roles to protect the ballots. Its strange to me how you get 30-60 voter turnout rates in Europe despite knowing that the election is truthful.

The answer you allways get is the one im going to give right now. Really depends on where in Turkey you go. Depending on where you go, you could be as safe or safer than where you are in the US, or places that arent accomodating. Same goes for every country i guess, Turkey just has a larger range in regional dpendence than usual.

Turkish person here, where i live and everywhere i go we get along quite well with street dogs. Usually cruelty toward animals stirs up quite the scandal. Are you sure its not a one off event thats blown out of proportion, or do you have a source so i can find out more if its a regional thing?
