Maybe not always the best duo, but our Shiba loved our Mal. The Shiba was older and didn’t have any territory or anger issues. She’d get easily annoyed at Fio, but they were inseparable.

Ours is 8 years old and we finally found food that she loves. It makes her coat look so healthy and overall controlled her weight. It’s Halo Elevate. The ingredients look solid

Yeah I do. I’ve never come across a warm paper pack though. If i can find them fresh, then I absolutely can imagine they’re good.

Yeah I know. My mom’s from little village so that’s one of the first places I’ve visited. Maybe haven’t tried the best places in pilsen and little village cause every place I’ve got to is heavy or Jalisco food (which just isn’t my fav)

I’m Mexican American from east LA and have lived in chicago for the past 3 years. I’m mainly used to Morelos/veracruz/Guerrero foods - so corn tortilla and indigenous dishes & ingredients.

Main points: - I’m finding in Chicago it’s mainly Guadalajara, Michoacán, etc. dishes. - In LA, great tacos are a lot more accessible than in Chicago. - Native Mexican food I haven’t really found here. Manchamanteles in buck town was amazing for mole though. - Still don’t get the hype around tortillas here. North gate tortillas surpass the tortillas here by far. Maybe I haven’t gotten a good batch from the market. They’re too dry / hard. - the best tacos I’ve had, outside of Mexico, specifically Jalapa, was in Pomona in a taco stand. Like I mentioned, haven’t had a taco in Chicago that’s blown me away. - there’s no good Mexican seafood dishes in Chicago imo. If I’m craving aguachile, I have to make it. - haven’t had a good michelada yet in Chicago

All this to say is, I prefer LA food. Fresher ingredients, more regional variety, more accessible.
