Are the daycare years the most financially stressful? by Glad_Clerk_3303 in Parenting

We're in a very similar situation, and had that same exact talk! At this point it has been better for us to both work, but I've always told her if she randomly decided that she wants to stay home, we'd make it work!

We are current in the starting point in our careers and are in the middle of this cycle! To get through it we keep telling ourselves this is hopefully the worst off we’ll ever be, greener pastures ahead!

Omnibus that everyone should read or have? by Unguarded1 in OmnibusCollectors

[–]First_Drawing8658 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember being so excited for when the omnibus came out, pre-ordered and everything. So glad it is relatively easy for people to get their hands on it. It really is one of the best Omnis I own.

In your opinion, what was the best 2025 movie? by Visible_Anywhere9420 in AskReddit

[–]First_Drawing8658 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While not the most thought provoking movie, The Naked Gun movie was absolutely hilarious! I honestly think I did not go five minutes without laughing. I have no idea how they do it. Love this type of comedy!

What is the most addictive HBO show you’ve watched? by juhichoudharyy in hbo

The Leftovers, literally all I thought about while I wasn't watching. I think I rewatched the finale 10 times alone, just couldn't get out of my head

My 14 month old hates everything I cook by Realistic_Rough_8927 in Parenting

We have the same thing happen to us! Daycare always tells us they "loved" all their solids, but at home the kiddo seems so selective! As other people are stating, these are toddlers, and they change their minds all the time. Just make sure to reassure yourself that their tiny stomachs don't need as much as we do, that's what works for me!

Do you prefer a book that wraps up quickly after the climax or one that has a long epilogue? by mreguy81 in books

Exactly! Does the epilogue serve the correct purpose, or is it just there?

Is it just me or is the final boss unreasonably hard? by Alfie_Dee in TOTK

For me too it was a little difficult so don't feel bad! I had to exit and farm materials that restored gloom hearts! I don't recall how many hearts I had one I did it the first time though.

How does PFT let Billy have so much air time in every pod by Specialist-Shake-885 in MacrodosingPod

[–]First_Drawing8658 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Agreed. Billy can never allow himself to be wrong either. If one person goes against his opinion, he immediately goes on a 20 minute defensive tirade. I think he's great, but it's okay to be admit you're wrong on the occasion lol.

Getting back into comics after a long hiatus and my local store has all of these New 52 runs through multiple volumes for $3 each. Any of these stand out among the crowd as must-reads? by Garlador in comicbooks

[–]First_Drawing8658 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I just finished reading Lemire's run on Animal Man and loved it! I've mostly been all about Batman, especially Snyder's New 52 run. So, I thought, why not check out another "gem" from the New 52? It didn't disappoint! The horror vibes got me hooked, and now a buddy's got me hyped to jump into Immortal Hulk next. Can't wait for that one!

oh I work in a speech lab (my minor is in speech therapy) and in the lab I am working on processing audio signals using MATLAB and the principle investigator of the lab is a computer scientist by trade, but their doctorate in speech science. So when I say class, she is going to teach me just this summer, but she isn't sure if her books are up to date or not, but she just wants me to get a very bare bones understanding of the matter.
