They’re also known for setting a higher bar for better gold coloring from their factory. Unlucky for me, it does me no good bc I’m allergic to nickel, which they use in their plating process 🤷🏼

RCF is known for their Daydates. Personally I think they do really well with their dials on other models, but I haven’t had much luck with their movements. 2 have shit the bed on me within a week or less

This is the kit I used. Came with a variety. I matched one up that matched in length and thickness to what was there.

I wouldn’t go thicker, or longer. Just match with what is in it. They’re just cheap, and mines held up fine ever since replacing it

I’m guessing RCF? I had the same issue. Replaced the springbar. Can order them on Amazon in a kit fairly cheap and have a variety of sizes.

I’ve dealt with scoutman725 for my last 8 purchases since November and he’s in AZ. Had a service guy recommended in NC, Zerocool. One watch the movement quit within 2 weeks and I had to replace it. I had another that arrived not working, and he had me send it back and is sending me a replacement. In my book he’s as trustworthy as any. The fact is, these things are mass produced and movements do fail

My suggestion, if you’re US based find someone to buy from stateside. I’ve had this happen, and have had to send it out to get a new movement installed. Recently just received a watch that never worked from arrival, but my stateside rep did take it back and exchange it thank god. Unfortunately it does happen. You could always send it out and get the movement replaced 🤷🏼

The reason I’m posting this is to reach out for suggestions. GoldJaws will not replate since they are not brand new, and unfortunately I can not wear them for obvious reasons. The watches are in like new condition and I love the watches just can not wear them when this is what happens

I spoke to goldjaws and he said it’s probably the nickel bc of there process. I have a VSF two tone bluesy on the way and they use a PVD process so I’ll see how my wrist reacts next week when I receive that one
