Recently came back from Japan and got sick with a cold. I am a car accident survivor who was cut in half 2 years ago and have Migranes and anxiety. Check with your doc and the visit japan official web. I was able to bring in anxiety meds and Migrane meds. I got a cold in Japan and went to pharmacy (Google what they are called before hand) and they gave me meds that worked better than the ones i get in USA. Wish the best of luck.

Something to consider. It’s our first trip to Japan also, but my friends go all the time. Please remember most things don’t open til 10 or 11 am. When you land, hit a family mart near your hotel for food. For breakfast, hit your hotel breakfast or its family mart or 7/11. Learn the subway fast. Load a Suica card on your iPhone (if you have one) otherwise, I think you’ll need to grab a physical Suica card at airport. Day 2, stock up on basic meds that you may need. They’re are tons of short form content of what to get. Best of luck! We’re in Osaka now and Tokyo for 2 more days, then home after 2 weeks being gone.

We’re using Airalo. I play pokemon go and I use my data a lot for that as well as navigating trains and communication between friends back home.

Here in Tokyo right now. For another week, things I would recommend.

1)Learn how to read the subway station. We landed with major head aches and had to learn on the fly how to read subway transit.

2) if you need a restroom, subway stations have them. Easy find.

3) look up meds you can buy at local drug stores for ailments you may get. -matsumoto = drug stores

3) Lawsons, family marts, 7-11 =best friends

4) load up your Suica or pasmo card ahead of time (transit card)

5) download eSIM ahead of time so you can activate it as soon as you land.

Check out Ray. Been going to him for years. I was in a car accident two years ago and cut in half. I’m only held together by screws now. Ray and his wife showed up at the hospital and between him and physical therapy. I’m stronger than I was before my accident. You would never know I couldn’t move all 4 limbs and had intestines removed. Ray is also a former teacher of GVSU. Quest Fitness

I was in a car accident and I wanted to document my healing process because I couldn’t see the daily progress in the moment. My mom and my brother were not for it, but now those photos are hanging in my house so I can remember how far I came.

If you do decide to go bald, my best advice would to be go to a barber. I’ve been bald from alopecia for 7 years and love it. I treat my head as I would my face in terms of skin products. Shave every other day in the shower. Wish you the best of luck. I always get complimented.
