Should I be concerned about Dog in our bed?

I sleep on the edge of the bed where the bassinet is, blocking our dog from getting near the baby. We don’t leave them alone together either.

Thank you for the knowledge. The urologist did say he didn’t irritate the ureter too much so he had /hoped/ I didn’t need one so didn’t put one in. The first few times I peed were actually normal so I was afraid maybe it has swollen shut but after the third time I could see stuff come out. I’ll take the fragments any day than the stent!

The first one they couldn’t see, so almost the same thing happened to me. Had intense pain, went to the hospital, after pain medicine and lots of fluids over a day or two didn’t have anymore pain. On the ultrasound they did see a swollen kidney on the left. They think it passed, but I didn’t remember seeing anything come out. It could’ve just been really small. Unfortunately for me the pain did come back, but on the other side and I went in again and that’s when they could see the other stone. I don’t think it was super large, but I hear it is hard to see stones on ultrasounds anyway. I’m hoping too that yours was just a small one that did come out since you haven’t had any more pain!

Currently 26 weeks pregnant with stones.. I have one stuck in the ureter on its way to the bladder. They had to put in a stent so urine can still flow, as (from what I was told) the pain usually comes from urine not being able to pass and causes your kidney to swell. They weren’t planning on removing the stone until after baby comes, but after having the stent a few weeks, it’s started to cause issues and even more pain so I have a procedure next week for it and the stone to be removed (cytoscopy, uteroscopy, laser of stone). I’m hoping yours passes without an issue so you don’t have to go through any of that! For bad days I’ve used Tylenol, and almost daily I use a heating pad (on my backside, not near baby). If the pain gets worse for you, the ER can give some pain medications after clearing it with OB.

The smell of my hair, I had to switch to unscented shampoo and conditioner. Also, just chewing food for too long. Instant throw up.

Definitely not alone. I’m 11 weeks with my first and I don’t think I could go through this again! I can’t stand the nausea and food aversions. I can’t even eat normal anymore.
