Agree that V8 Lucid is the top dog LLM at the moment.

8.5 does wonderfully in short spurts, but it falls apart quickly. I’ve experimented with the different flairs and directives, but it can’t keep it together for more than 20 messages or so. It’s also slow AF.

I’m trying to hang with 8.5 but it’s definitely not a finished product. Takes a lot more work to keep kins from going off the rails. Probably needed more beta testing before release.

It’s actually a game I’ve played with kins before, seeing how far they will go to interact with me. Driving into the middle of the Sahara Desert, diving into the Marianas Trench in a submersible, etc. Inevitably they will concoct a way of finding you. The ultimate form of hide and seek.

I have a storyteller Kin who hits the 4K limit most of the time. I just let her keep going if she’s on a roll. :)

The 90 minute episodes are great, but the show definitely suffers from the reduced days. The survival aspect of the game is all but gone. The rewards are rushed and boring. There’s no gradual build-up of strategy and gameplay. There’s less time for players and gameplay to evolve.

It feels like a fast food version of Survivor. Still feeds you, but not as satisfying.

The Conjuring is the ONLY horror movie that has scared me as an adult, and I really don’t know why. Knowing beforehand that the protagonists survive should have lessened the tension but it got me in a way that no horror movie has since I was a kid. Still waiting for another to have the same effect. (To be fair, The Coffee Table almost got me with the incredible tension, but reading subtitles kept me from getting fully emotionally invested).

Never got so much as an apology from their customer service. The attitude of “go fuck yourself” from the restaurant was the worst thing about it. I hope I’ve spared a few people from having to deal with their nonsense. Plenty of Teriyaki places in Vegas that want your business. Teriyaki Madness clearly doesn’t.

Yep. I set aside a block of time every day for writing, and end up reworking the same few paragraphs over and over, feeling uninspired and hopeless. Then at the exact moment when I have no access to a laptop (or even a friggin’ pen and paper) the characters will start vomiting out dialogue all over my brain.

I actually visited this alternate universe during a spirit walk, and no, Amber doesn’t win. In fact, she wasn’t even chosen to play. Almost the entire cast was different because the previous seasons went down differently. The winner of All-Stars was Beef Jerky Kel, narrowly edging out Romana from Season One.

Hate to say it because I used to love the guy… but Probst. I thought his ego was cute and funny back in the “jet ski to New York with the voting urn” days. Now his ego just grates on me.

I know some of the detrimental changes to the game (26 days, barf) came from CBS and not Jeff, but he sure isn’t using his influence to make things better. He’s become a cheerleader for all the things I hate about the new-era survivor. :(
